Good old fashioned greasy spoons cafe that does what it says on the tin. I have eaten here with friends many times over the years and you can guarantee really good sized portions of food and speedy service, on both dine in and takeaway options. If you're fancying a good old fashioned fry up or in need of a hangover cure then this is the place you need to visit.

Lovely little cafe (looks small at first glance, but there is room for 30 people downstairs!). Service quick and friendly. Walls covered in items to make you smile. The breakfast was great. If I could rate 4.8 I would, as the only let down was that there was no option to add black pudding to the breakfast (minor point unless you like bp). If you're in Bodmin and want to eat, I would definitely recommend.

Paid over £10 for 2 breakfast sandwiches take away. One was bacon, sausage and egg- had only one half sausage in each half and they forgot the egg completely. Other was just bacon and was just OK. Overall place felt very unfriendly and overly expensive for what it is.

Food was amazing. Service was warm and welcoming. Menu was easy to use and very varied. Vegans are well catered for with loads of choice. Portion sizes were huge the panini was more like a loaf and well filled!

My husband and I planned a trip to Bodmin for charity shop shopping, so I looked around for a restaurant for us to stop at. I came across Pots and looked at the reviews.
I actually respect an owner who addresses issues/defends their business. I purposely picked this restaurant to make my own review about it.
I'm glad we went! It was such a great place. The food was so tasty and plentiful! The prices were very reasonable. The staff served with a smile.
Unfortunately, some restaurants bad reviews are from people unhappy in general, so they need to complain.
I couldn't find anything wrong with the place...the bathroom is small, but that can't be helped , it was very clean.
I had the bacon, brie & cranberry panini...chefs kiss...it was perfectly balanced in flavour. My husband had the big English breakfast, without mushrooms or tomatoes. He said it was gorgeous and loved the sausage, saying it was lovely tasting . He was impressed with the bread. I had a vanilla/caramel latte, and it was fabulous.
We will definitely be back as we live 25 minutes away, and it's worth the trip.
