Due to an on-site event the food took a little longer to arrive than I expected. That said the staff were great and we're obviously working very hard. The quality of the food and portion sizes were excellent. A very enjoyable meal

We stopped for dinner on our way north to catch a ferry. I have been to The Hayhurst Arms several times over the last 6 years and it has always been consistently good. This time was no exception.

Lots of seating in cosy groups, inside and out. Food very nice, but only one vegan and gluten free option - it was an aubergine curry, nice but very small portions. Soft drinks are expensive but you can get jugs of free tap water. Staff all very nice.
