Due to an on-site event the food took a little longer to arrive than I expected. That said the staff were great and we're obviously working very hard. The quality of the food and portion sizes were excellent. A very enjoyable meal

We stopped for dinner on our way north to catch a ferry. I have been to The Hayhurst Arms several times over the last 6 years and it has always been consistently good. This time was no exception.
The Hayhurst Arms is a classic village pub which sits in the heart of Bostock, right beside the village green. It is a friendly, close-knit community and the pub forms a wonderful social hub where neighbours can meet for a chat and a pint, locals can bring friends and family for a bite to eat, and where visitors will find a warm welcome.
You'll find log fires burning, lots of cozy corners to tuck yourself away, and a well-stocked bar right at the heart of things. When the sun shines, the pub is flooded with light, and our spacious terrace and gardens, which overlook the village green, are the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining.
