No Customer Service at all After Purchase! Broken Car!Bought a Fiat 500X from this garage. Noticed a few scratches on it when viewing which was pointed out to the sales person (Luke) at the time. Told it would all be sorted first thing tomorrow. But said we'd come back in 3 days time to collect it to give them more time to sort. Rang ahead on the morning of collection to double check scratches had be done etc They hadn't. As they weren't "notified". Nevertheless we collected it, as had already changed insurance, but arranged to take it back the next Monday (when the bodywork man was back in) to get sorted. We didn't make it to this Monday, as within 24hr of collecting the car it had broken down with the 'check Engine light' on. Rang Arnold Clark, spoke to Luke who told us, he'll "give it a little look on Monday evening when we bring it" asif this was just a something of nothing problem. Told him no chance we are driving it the 20miles back with this warning light on. After 3 at the road side call outs using the warranty it was eventually recovered back to winsford by the AA. We then sent emails and phone calls to winsford saying to have the scratch sorted and other cosmetic jobs (dirty Interior roof / Temperature Guage showing 40°c outside in January) etc while it was in for repair. We then had to fight to get a Courtesy car from them, which took 3 days. The car was moved from Winsford to a Arnold Clark in Salford for repair. 3.5 weeks went by with no information from Arnold clark. Despite constant chasing "someone will ring you back"After over 3 weeks, car was returned. In the Exact same condition it was when it when in. Scratch still on show, dirty internal rood and engine light lit up dashboard like a Christmas Tree. Almost as if in 3-4 weeks it was 'in workshop for repair' absolutely nothing had been done to the car. Very next day, returned the car back to Winsford and had meeting the general Manager where we requested a refund which I was told couldn't be done until Monday (this was Saturday). It is now Monday evening I am without a car & Without refund So unable to try and source a replacement car. So now my partner is forced to take unpaid leave from work. After all this. We still don't have a clue what the fault with this car is as we were never told. Cars Break, I understand that. But the reason you buy from a large garage like Arnold Clark is the piece of mind that if it does go wrong, they will do what they can for you. So it's the absolute lack of customer service to put it right that hits home the most. Almost as though we were in the wrong.I would strongly advise you not to use this Branch!

Would not even give this place a one star! Stay clear. Nothing but problems with my car from the very beginning. After the car completely wouldn?t start was told there was nothing they could do. Ended up giving the car up, which cost thousands!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE.Arnold Clark need to employ better and honest salesmen.DON'T DEAL WITH MARK TAYLORThe experience was appalling .The boot of the car was full of DOG HAIR.The middle seat had a CIGARETTE HOLE and the rear bumper and side had scrape with very poor polish job.Whilst I arrived and went to the gents that is when the salesmen took the car outside for a quick wet n wash. This guy is presenting a 20k car in this condition. He lied numerous times on the phone and told me car was tidy and ready to go.THIS GUY TRIED MANY TIMES FOR ME TO COMPLETE THE FINANCE SO THEY CAN GET PAID PRIOR TO MY VISIT.GUYS DON'T DEAL WITH MARK TAYLOR HE IS NOT HONEST OR HELPFUL JUST A MONEY GRABBER

I would love to give a big thank you to Viktoria, she was the best when purchasing my car! The most kind, helpful and patient consultant. Any questions I had she had an answer, took so much time with me to go through all paperwork and made sure I understood the whole process. Even after purchasing the car any questions I had she got back to me straight away! Smooth process throughout I cannot complain. I Couldn?t recommend Viktoria enough.

I bought a vehicle from Arnold Clark Winsford at the end of January 2023. Leaving the forecourt, there was a reminder on the dash that it needed a service. When I did a test drive the week before, this wasn't there. So I drove it back the week after for this to be done. Not sure why this wasn't picked up on before I collected it. The beginning of August, having the vehicle 6 months and driven less than 4000 miles, the car broke down on the motorway. A warning light came up on the dash saying 'stop the car immediately, engine oil pressure failure'. Not good in the middle lane. So, I was towed to my local Arnold Clark who, later in the week, diagnosed a degraded wet belt which needed to be replaced. After calls with the service manager at Winsford, it appears this is a recognised problem. My one star rating is for the gesture of goodwill in paying my towing fee to get my car from Arnold Clark to Perry's, Preston. I was without my vehicle for 2 months as a Vauxhall mechanic also had to diagnose the issue and the vehicle had to fit certain criteria for Vauxhall to fund this recognised issue, which was very costly! I use my vehicle for work, my enhanced insurance didn't cover me for breakdowns and there were no courtesy cars available. It's not the fact this was a recognised issue was I was unaware of, I will be asking next time I buy a car, it's the lack of customer care when something goes wrong. If you are thinking of buying a Vauxhall Combo Life, get the wet timing belt checked first.

I would like to leave a positive review for this dealership, but unfortunately due to a variety of poor customer service and bodge repairs to a new vechical I purchased, I am unable to do so, if the option to leave a negative star rating then this branch would get full negative stars.I brought a new car under a month ago from this dealership, the staff were quick to sell the vechical but a few weeks later the vechical had a safety fault with the alarm. The bonnet sensor had gone faulty, after trying numerous times to speak to someone throughout the day and being told "someone will be in contact shortly" it wasn't until 17.00 in the evening I eventually got a phone call back. After speaking to Andy, the service manager, I rushed the car down to the dealership for him to have a look at. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do anything and I was told the part would have to be ordered and could take 2 weeks to arrive. I asked if this was a common issue and Andy replied "yes I've had a few this week with the same fault". Now, upon hearing this, anyone would think Vauxhall would of put a recall out for the affected vehicles, especially when the bonnet sensor forms part of the security alarm to the car and such a part not working is effectively voiding your insurance and right to claim if the car was to be broken Into. After waiting 2 weeks, the car went Into get the "new part" fitted. Again, I was told it will take 2.30hrs to complete. This was not the case- Andy had not booked the vehical in and I had to leave the car on site all day leaving my heavily pregant partner without a car and me having to take the day of work, loosing out on money.I collected the car the same evening at 17.20 and informed the "new part was fitted and all works completed". Before leaving the forecourt, I checked to see if this was the case. INFACT it was quite the opposite. Instead of fixing the vehicle, a mechanic had infact chopped of the sensor and bodged the wire together under electrical tape (see pictures attached).I returned the following day and Insisted to speak the Branch Manager. After me pointing out the multiple issues with the level of customer service, poor workmanship, bodge repairs to a brand new vecehicle, LACK of quality control and being lied to, I have now returned the car and got my original car back.Again, I have had to take a second day off work and now loosing out on 2 days wages, my heavily pregnant partner having to go threw emotional stress and disruption, all I got was a good will gesture of £200 and my original vehicle back and apologie. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE.I URGE all customers of the winsford branch, if you have had a so called repair to the bonnet sensor to check, as this will void your insurance; if someone were to break into the car via the bonnet, this has broken the consumer good act 2015 and the law.I hope somone from head office sees this and gets in contact, as now I will be reporting this branch to trading standards and the financial ombudsman. The vechical in question is the 2023 Vauxhall Grandland

Do not buy a car from Arnold clark. I did, and have had to spend on it constantly in the 3 years I?ve had it, on my way home today the steering stopped working and I nearly had a serious accident. What has Arnold clark had to say? It?s all wear and tear. It?s had a list of recommendations on its first MOT and failed its second MOT. It?s done 34,000 miles! I do 20 miles a day to/ from work. They said put a review on but it won?t get me anywhere. I now have a car 2019 reg. sat on my drive that I?m scared of driving and Arnold Clark said get a solicitor they will just send it to their legal team and again won?t get me anywhere. If it saves someone not buying from them it?s been worth it. Disgusting company.

I would like to say a very big thank you to Sam, who helped me and my wife choose our 1st brand new electric car (Vauxhall Mokka). Sam was brilliant and guided us all the way through the process of buying the car.He went through everything from inside and outside the vehicle, and we even went for a test drive, which was amazing.Sam was brilliant to us! He gave us as much time as we needed to purchase our next car. He wasn't pushy. Sam was honest, caring, and acting in a professional manner. So for this, I give Sam and the team at Arnold Clarke (Vauxhall) 5 ? ?A big thank you, Sam, for everything you did.Simon

Absolutely disgusting customer service. The staff and the so called garage of theirs are all extremely rude. I purchased a car from here and it needed work doing so this was booked in and the first appointment was missed due to unfortunate circumstances therefore I booked in again to have the work done which I waited two weeks for the next appointment I was given a time so I came for the correct time then to wait over 3 hours for TRACKING! When I asked the receptionist how long it would be I was told to wait as the garage is doing me a favour because the first appointment was missed. If this is how you treat your customers it's absolutely disgusting!. I will not be coming back here for a car ever again and I will make sure none of my friends or family do either. For who evers reading this don't bother with the place, and to the managers of the branch sort your staff out.
