Had 2 big baskets full of shopping £90+ and was forced to go through a self service till. I asked nicely if one of the staff could open up a proper till for me and was greeted by the biggest sigh ever by the female staff worker. I just went on the self service instead and made a big to do out of it. Funnily enough when walking out with all my bags the shop assistant had opened a proper till for other members of the public?

Aldi winsford regularly has half empty middle aisles and at Times is an absolute tip, some staff often too busy chatting to each other on headsets to bother with customers, some staff are great though like Dave on the self service tills or the blonde lady he couldn't be more helpful or friendly.

Great sliced cook meat, biscuits, usual needs, English apples at low price etc. And speedy self checkouts continue to be a good asset for quick exits.

my mate payed for his food and we went back into the shop to find the rest of our group. the security guard asked for our receipts i shown mine but my mate didnt have one. he wouldnt let him out the shop and grabbed him and pinned him up to a wall. the woman on one of the tills watched us pay for then but lied to the security man and said we didnt pay (we are 12 years old and the security man was around 40)! get him sacked!!

Best place for supermarket shopping in Winsford. Great selection at affordable prices. The middle aisles are alway worth reviewing to find items you cannot live without.Helpful staff and they now have self-checkout facilities

Quite well organised but long queue at checkouts.Self service tills with more for card users but as one customer commented not enough tills for cash payers.Staff on till we're slow and not enough tills we're open.
