3 stars for the gym - the best in the everybody range imo. But the place is filthy - the gym, toilets off reception, 3 different showers/changing rms I've used. No way they can say these are cleaned daily or even deep cleaned regularly. I've been looking at the same filth for months.

A fine modern mixed-use leisure facility, incorporating a swimming pool and concert hall.

This is by far the worst gym in the world ?. The staff always have an attitude and seem to be extremely rude to anyone and everyone?. The facilities are awful and they are sticky , smelly and over all disgusting , I would not recommend this place to everyone and this is the honest truth , the manager is rude and everyone in general is just horrible ??????

The worst food I've ever eaten. Cheap bacon/sausages but not a cheap price. Awful cheap condiments. The hash brown was basically hollow and as for the scrambled egg, I've never eaten anything as disgusting in my life. Who makes scrambled egg with long life/uht milk?!? Tasted vile and was swimming in the awful residue. Embarrassingly bad, wish I could give the place 0 stars

This is a small gym with one of each machine, decent equipment overall.
However, a major issue is the presence of unsupervised children, who often come in groups and misuse the machines. This not only creates safety concerns for themselves but also poses a risk to other gym users. It can be disruptive and takes away from the overall experience.
Another drawback is the parking situation. On days when the leisure centre hosts events, the gym?s parking becomes limited, forcing members to pay for the adjacent car park, an inconvenience that should be addressed.
Overall, while the gym itself has potential, better supervision and improved parking arrangements would significantly enhance the experience.

Baby changing facilities in the mens are shocking and dangerous.
Table looks like it?s from the 1950s.
No strap meaning I couldn?t secure my baby whilst I got changed (extremely dangerous).
No curtain? I had to keep one hand on my baby whilst I tried to get changed and dry, with no curtain this was a horrible experience. How much is a curtain?
No nappy bin in sight of baby changing.
Only 1 table meaning if 2 parents are there, then baby has to wait, wet and cold.
Tiny area to put clothes/changing bag.
Would appreciate a response as I?m sure a lot of this isn?t legal in 2025.

The gym is sick I can just go there after school bash out a workout and leave with no hastle. The staff are hella relaxed and put alot of effort into making sure the gym is a solid place.

They frequently place badminton bookings next to pickleball players. It makes playing badminton actively dangerous, because of the more-than-occasional players stumbling into other people's court or having to skip over rogue plastic balls mid-rally.
Surely common sense dictates that, if there are 2 sports being played in the same hall and there is a risk of equipment interfering with another, there should be a net curtain dividing the hall.
Safety should be a top priority, and the current setup is a clear oversight that needs immediate attention.

I took my grandchildren to the pool this morning, they had a wonderful time. Well it was until the lifeguards changed and he stopped them having fun. The older lifeguards seem to know that children have to have fun or they don't enjoy swimming. The younger one just wanted to pose and be officious.

My husband and I have been members for over a year. He tends to use the gym which has been recently been refurbished and extended and I typically go to classes. As far as the gym goes it?s huge and superbly equipped and even when it gets busier at the weekend, there?s always plenty of equipment to use and advice on hand.
I love the variety of classes and number of classes. The booking system is easy to use online and you can book a week ahead. The variety of classes and friendliness and experience of the majority of the instructors is excellent. I don?t think I?ve ever had a class cancelled if an instructor has unexpectedly been ill, for example. They?ve always seem to cover things.
I can?t comment on the changing rooms or pool as we never use those.
Parking is free for gym members and you can use any of the other everybody gyms once you become a member, except for Alderley Park which has a higher rating.
In short, it?s an absolutely brilliant leisure centre and great value for money. It?s very convenient in terms of location.
The only downsides are that parking can be especially busy on weekends when there are often things going on in the main hall and that for my particular interest, I could do with more Pilates classes, as the classes of around 30 literally tend to get booked up within a couple of hours of the class being released a week ahead.
