Restaurant was empty, loads of staff yet food took ages to arrive, when it did two of the dishes were burnt. When they returned one was fine but the other was burnt again.
£18 for a vegan pizza which was a like eating the thinnest, dry piece of bread with hardly any toppings, just left me feeling hungry and sick.
Probably the worst restaurant experience we've had in a years. Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.
Update: branch manager asked based of this review to contact them directly, I did just that several times and had no reply. Clearly don't care.

Good food, but service was a little slow as saturday evening and end of half term week. Staff made up for it by accommodating a reduction in the total cost

Children's portions were quite small
Atmosphere - it was busy when we arrived, but it did get more quiet

Visit branch on Friday. The restaurant was extremely busy. The team was all working so hard. Brilliant atmosphere, excellent food, good vibe, happy staff. The team did an excellent job.

We were stood waiting for a table when there were 5 tables empty and waiting for 25 minutes to be seated the tables which were empty, we stayed down waited another 25 minutes for a waitress to come and say we can't take your order not even for a drink as I am taking desert orders from other tables how she has a job there is a joke, the manager hasn't got any people skills his organization is non existent, so we ended up going to another pizza place around the corner wood fire and smoke which was excellent, Just from walking into pizza Express last night and how we were treated from the manager was disgusting AVOID

We?ve been coming to Pizza Express Wilmslow for over eight years, and it?s always a fantastic experience?thanks in large part to Abbas! He is the heart and soul of this place, always greeting us with a warm smile and his infectious, jolly personality. His service is second to none, making every visit feel special. The food is consistently great, but it?s Abbas who truly makes this our go-to spot. Thank you for your years of amazing hospitality!

This is one of the best Pizza Expresses I have ever been - made exceptional by the amazingly kind and attentive staff- Abbas in particular. Had a very special welcome this evening for my Mum (and me- daughter) as she had not been back since her husband/my Dad died just over a year ago. She and my Dad used to come here every Thursday evening and were always looked after so well by Abbas, Will and their colleagues. At the end of the meal the manager Jamie also came over for a chat, had ?welcome back? flowers for my Mum and an invite for her to pop in anytime, even if she just wanted a coffee or a chat. A huge thank you to all of you tonight- you made my Mum?s (and mine) evening.

After leaving the airport late and picking up the car from Hunters, we all needed some food before travelling back home.
We don't know Manchester well, and found a lot of places closed, not serving food, or there was no decent gluten free options for my husband.
Thankfully, we found this Pizza Express! The server was fantastic, very friendly - definitely 5 stars for service!
My daughter enjoyed her meal, and my husband was able to eat (albeit the gluten free pizzas are rather small, hence the 4 stars). They also do gluten free dough balls which aren't well advertised, but my husband enjoyed them!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available, however, the pizzas are rather small compared to the regular pizzas.
They do offer gluten free dough balls!
Kid-friendliness: The staff were great with my daughter - they also have colouring in available.

Truly excellent service, me and my family have been coming for over 7 years, and the restaurant has never disappointed us!
