I was not briefed that I need to pay for the eye test for 29.9. It was not stated on the website and the staff did not tell me in advance. I would expect getting contact lens would entitle a free eye check and it has always been the experience in other shops

Zenab did my original sight test last year but due having a very small prescription decided against glasses at the time. She was friendly and professional and didn?t mind taking the time to explain things in simple terms so that I could understand. I started studying again at the beginning of September and began to feel a lot of eye strain due to extended periods in front of my laptop, Dale recommended a lens called the Eyezen Start for me. He went through pricing and all the benefits to suit my visual needs. Excellent service from start to finish. Thanks!

I recently had an eye test appointment and was welcomed firstly by Lisa who was ever so helpful and lovely. She gave clear instructions for the initial eye test and made sure I was comfortable. I then went into another room for further eye tests which were carried out by Zenab who was also lovely, clearly instructive and made me feel at ease.
My experience here was very warm and welcoming, Lisa and Zenab made me feel relaxed and were happy to answer any questions I had. I can only thank them both for such amazing service carried out.

had my eye test recently and was looked after by Lisa and Zenab. Both of them were incredibly professional, friendly, and reassuring throughout the whole appointment. Lisa explained each step clearly, making sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening, while Zenab carried out the checks with great care and attention to detail.
What really stood out was how approachable they both were ? they made the whole experience stress-free and even enjoyable.

I had an eye test at Boots Handforth Dean ,Wilmslow on 30/8/2025.
The customer service was excellent and my eye test was thoroughly done and advise given by the optician her name was Zenab. She is a true professional optician.
Then I went over to choose my glasses the assistant was Rita Dixon she was so helpful and friendly. Rita helped me choose my glasses and advised me on which frames suited me.
After care advice was given to me by Rita.
Boots opticians are lucky to have such wonderful friendly staff like Zenab and Rita.
