Had a lovely Mother's day meal last Sunday. My mum and my mother in law really enjoyed it too. Service was great. Staff really took care of us and went the extra mile. Thank you so much x

Just been to Notcotts garden centre for lunch. I know it is Mother's day so busy BUT a shambles. Food awful, grandson could not eat his, tuna melt trying to find tuna, jacket potato burnt and hard. Roast dinners cold veg undercooked and brown oily liquid supposed to be gravey. Not informed to collect drinks so waited. Had to ask a number of times for desert. Whole experience disgusting.

Visited cafe but was not a great experience, it's expensive and food quality is terrible, had the ploughman's lunch but most items were very poor quality and we had scones but very hard. If the price reflected the food, maybe cut prices in half! it may be worth a visit but it's very expensive and I found when an item on the menu was unavailable (which later was on a ploughman's plate) the staff didn't apologise just said "we haven't got any". Used to go once a week for breakfast but I don't bother now, nicer and cheaper places to visit. The garden centre itself is well stocked and you expect the higher prices at a garden centre and food hall was nice so 2 stars for the main shop.

We call this our favourite place now when meeting up with friends. The restaurant is the main reason the staff are so friendly and helpful and love the tracker system they have in place makes it so much easier. Great atmosphere love it !

My wife & I booked Afternoon Tea to celebrate my sisters 94th Birthday & were very disappointed. Sandwiches of Tuna, Cheese & Egg on dried up bread with no relishes were not very enjoyable, these were followed up by Quiche that was full of water as though it had just been defrosted from a freezer & it was difficult to identify, it's content also it was served on the same plate as the scone & cream so we first thought it was a dessert. All the food was edible but the only enjoyable items were the desserts & scones. We did not complain at the time because it would have spoiled my sisters birthday, We were told & surprised that they only allow for one drink within the cost, the cost of any extra drinks were added to the bill.

I came on the 23rd December for lunch and some last second Christmas shopping. I had the turkey ciabatta and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Most importantly, though, the service was spectacular! Vicki is an absolute credit to the restaurant and made for such a memorable visit. Had us both in stitches!
