If I could have left zero stars I would have done.
I visited some time ago and left an item to be cleaned. On returning I was informed that my clothing was damaged, but they had â??told me of the risks of this when I left the itemâ?. They definitely did not do this, or I would not have left it with them in the first place.
I was then told that they cleaned much more expensive items than the one that I had without difficulty, even taking the trouble to name the designers of these garments, with the implication that it didnâ??t matter that my cheap clothing was ruined.
They would not pay for the damage and the woman behind the desk persisted in being insulting and rude about my â??inexpensiveâ? clothing for some time.
I could not understand the awful attitude of this dry cleaners, which was unable to successfully perform their primary purpose without ruining a much loved item of clothing. The worst part of it was how they insisted that I was lying about having warned me of potential for damage to the clothing and insulted me in so many ways.
I would highly recommend going elsewhere in Widnes to have your clothing cleaned if you value it at all.
