Booked a collection for some furniture that I wanted to get rid of, waited - and made sure I could be as helpful as possible.None of the items were taken? there are no guidelines online regarding what can or can?t be donated and they thoroughly wasted my time. Next time I have a donation for the British heart foundation I?ll put a sticker on it and take it to my local refuse facility instead.Thoroughly disappointed and disillusioned with this charity.

Is this a charity shop or a TK Maxx? Whats up with your prices? Used clothes that are in average condition are priced like they are Brand New. Books are so overpriced, you get them same books on eBay or Amazon for less + they get sent to you for free. I would understand your pricing if you were buying your stock for re-sale, but as far as I know you get your stock for free.

Dropped many a bag of decent quality clothes at the rear of the shop, on my last visit after knocking at the back door a lovely lady answered and told me if there?s no answer to call the number on the door, today I called this number and was told ?we are not taking any donations at the moment!? Quite abruptly. I have donated at least half a dozen times and used gift aid, NEVER EVER AGAIN I AM AFRAID

Since I lost my farther to a heart attack when I was just a boy I?ve always gone above and beyond to donate and buy from the heart founding but after the last few occasions going in to the heart foundation shop in widnes I?ll be avoiding this charity for as long as i live. Firstly they have a woman that asks you to donate over and over again soon as you enter the shop not leaving you alone and they?re really unfriendly and they?re charging silly prices for second hand even going as far as charging you more than you?d be charged buying some of the items brand new. Absolutely disgusting with the way this shops gone down hill and it?s really sad.

Called in late today with 2 bags of good quality clothes. Assistant behind counter simply pointed to the floor at the side of the desk and said, " leave them there". No PLEASE, or THANK YOU. Manners cost nothing. Without people like me, prepared to go out of their way to donate, you wouldn't have items to sell in your shops.

A really good friendly place to browse around.Easy to donate and very clean clothes and goodies to choose from. And of course supporting a very good cause

Everytime we walk in the widnes shop, there's a woman that either keeps asking for a donation bag, or to buy a badge. If you refuse, she just stands there as if she can't take no for an answer.
As a customer, I don't appreciate keep being asked for things. I like looking around without anyone bothering me. If I'm going to buy a badge, or take a donation bag, I will.
Won't be going in there again.
