Came to the Winwick branch Thursday at 5pm for a new key case to be told he car?t do it know it takes to long todo so I went along with it come Saturday when my appointment was to my surprise he did it in 3 miniutes as happy as I was to not be waiting long clearly what he said on Thursday was a lie and he just couldn?t be bothered. Also he couldn?t be fix my spare key to witch I was told I was nieve and I had been sold dodgy key turns out he didn?t even try a new battery init and this was the issue and he wanted to charge me £270 reprogram a new circuit board when that wasn?t even the issue I didn?t go there to be called nieve I went for key replacement!!!

I went to Timpsons with a bent key, I asked if it could be straightened or a new key cut from it. Not only did he straighten it he cut me a new key without me asking him to and didn't charge me for it because the key I'd bent was a Timpsons key, I was at fault not Timpsons. Couldn't be happier

Disgusted with price quoted to replace a watch battery...also told I had to take out min 1 year insurance....sorry it's my right to take or not take out insurance......fuming

Went to Timpsons at Tesco winnick road Warrington to have a replacement key for my car made ,
The assistance told me that a replacement buttonless key with immobiliser soft wear built in to the key and to fit a replacement fob case to the old key fob would be a price of £159.
I paid the fee and had the work done, a short while later the replacement fob fitted to my old key fob was malfunctioning so I returned to Timpsons with my receipt to see if they could check it for me, the assistance when I returned was the same person who I dealt with the first time, when I spoke to the assistant and showed him my receipt I was very surprised when he said the key fob in question had not been fitted at Timpsons and had nothing to do with him and that the receipt for £159 was just for the replacement key, he offered to fit a replacement plastic Fob for a fee of £60 which I declined as the same replacement plastic fob can be purchased for £8.
I took it on myself to check with other Timpson shop who provide the same service and all 3 different stores information me the buttonless key I had made is priced a Timpsons at £89 only and that I would be charged £60 for a replacement plastic fob case so the total cost would be £159, this is the same price I paid.
This is a clear case of deception by the assistant to try and say I paid £159 for a replacement key when it was only £89 so that the faulty fob case did not need to be replaced.
I shall never use Timpson again as their staff are clearly dishonest ,for any customers wishing to get a replacement plastic key fob, please buy one online as they are good quality and only takes 5 minutes to charge and keep the other £52 of your money in your pocket.

What a service this shop provides. I went this morning due to my sons coat breaking and the gentleman behind the counter could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond to assist me, was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly throughout. He is an absolute credit to the store. I will highly recommend this shop to anyone. I have previously been prior to this occasion to get two keys cut to and had the same great friendly and helpful service.

Want to say a massive thank you to Neil, who went above and beyond. I came in needing 2 wedding rings engraved. Neil was so helpful and got it done ASAP for me. Truly saved the day. No where else could do this in 24 hours.
The wedding rings where a gift to a couple getting married next week. They are over joyed with their rings.
Will always get my engraving here in future.
