The only reason I am tied to this specsavers is that I am on a contact lenses
scheme that is pretty good. I pay a monthly fee, get my contacts free eye tests and money off frames. But apart from that I dread every time I have to go in. They completely over book and it gets so busy very quickly. Even the opticians themselves have come out their rooms and said this is impossible we can?t keep up. Appointments are always late and you are often forgotten about. I was 30 minutes waiting for my appointment then I got told ?go wait upstairs you will be seen faster?. I went upstairs and waited another 30-40 minutes before a staff member approached me and said ?you?ve been waiting a while what are you here for?? Only then was I dealt with as quickly as they could. Allow 2-3 hours for your appointment because it?s rarely on time. And then buying glasses is a horrible experience because other specsavers I?ve been to in the past allow half payment on the day and half on glasses collection which gives you time especially if you live from paycheck to paycheck but nope not this store. Must all be paid in full there and then on the day which can sometimes be £250 or more. No payment plans or flexibility. Sometimes it?s hard for people to have that kind of money there and then. Go early and give 2-3 hours. And they need more flexibility with payments

Absolutely fantastic service store was busy but I didn?t wait too long however, they must be good if there are plenty of customers every time I go in. I was treated so well particularly by the female optician/optometrist
