This Premier Inn is understaffed the employee that is responsible for welcoming and signing in visitors is also in charge of running the bar, waitressing on tables and making sure the kitchen is working properly.
We did not get our towels until we went down to ask for them, and the bathroom had no toilet paper in.

Rooms are standard for a Premier Inn ? clean, functional, nothing surprising there.
Service, however, was disappointing. The new receptionist was friendly, polite, and helpful. She needed to ask her manager for assistance with something ? and that?s when things went south.
The manager?s attitude toward me was outright rude and dismissive. No greeting, no courtesy, no effort to be helpful ? just cold and unwelcoming. I?ve stayed in many hotels, and this kind of treatment from a person in a managerial position is unacceptable.
Basic respect costs nothing. If this is how guests are treated for simply asking a question, I?d seriously question whether this person should be representing the brand. She could definitely do with a customer service refresher ? or at the very least, a reminder on how to interact with people.
Constructive feedback only works if someone?s willing to take it ? and I hope someone at Premier Inn is paying attention. Because this wasn?t a minor slip; it was a complete failure of customer service.

This Premier Inn is a bit worn out (and no aircon), but still up to the usual standard. Beautifully clean.
We stayed twice this time, on the way to and from Scotland.
Despite being on the ground floor, we had a quiet room until the lad with the leaf blower decided to prevent our lie-in! You'd think that could happen in the afternoon when guests have checked out.
The hotel appears to be short staffed and the same 3 ladies had all the jobs (apart from leaf-blowing). Checking people in, manning the bar, serving at the tables and so on. It is amazing they stayed so cheerful; they must have been exhausted!

Great hotel halfway between Edinburgh and London. Coded parking facilities. Clean rooms, bedding and towels. Claire who was on restaurant reception at breakfast was lovely and knowledgeable on coeliac disease. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Stayed here after a very long drive from Scottish Islands, no one around at reception to check-in, asked in the restaurant and lady there helpful and checked in. Was looking forward to a pint of doom bar but none available, the only other option was a can in IPA 330ml for £5.20 that is about £9 a pint, no thank you. went back to the room to find only one towel, we made do with that as we were now very tired, but surely a full set of towels for two would be a minimum when booking a room for two people. Reviewing other options for future en-route stays

What can I say, stayed overnight on route to a work course. Breakfast started too late at 0630, I had to be on the road by then. Room was clean and comfortable.
