Absolutely useless. If you get the opportunity, go and bank at Lloyds.Holding up our house purchase because they can't print off a H2B statement. Told us it would take us 1 working day to receive it. Now they've told us (after going on branch 4 days later) that the company they use to produce statement has gone bump. Unwilling to give us any sort of resolution and not able to help.How are we supposed to finalise our house purchase when we've got these literally giving us no information and being so unhelpful. Staff not even trying to assist at all, unnecessarily blunt and difficult.When we required this from Lloyds, we got the statement within 5 minutes of being in their branch - staff so lovely and helpful.Avoid this bank if you can - so archaic.

Needed my bank statements for 31/01/24 to do my tax return for 22/23Went into the bank weeks ago to get told they have to be ordered if over 15 month old. I do this every year at the one in runcorn no problem.Was told i would have them posted within 10 days. Still havnt recieved them. Used to like Nationwide

Totally totally unacceptable. Went to branch on 23 December to order new card. Went on 24 December to confirm. Card never arrived. Contacted bank through app was assumed card would arrive last week. Contacted bank via app today and was told card has not even been ordered. This has caused serious financial hardship. This is totally incompetent.

This has to be the worst building society I have ever had to deal with! I recently lost my mother in law who unfortunately banks with nationwide. The hoops we?ve had to go through to close her account has been an absolute joke. We are 4 weeks in and still nothing has been done. They are not digital ie won?t use email to send forms to sign and don?t to bank transfers only cheques. We have been to the branch several times now to be told the forms are in the post. Do not give them your money because they will not give it back to you easily! Her other account with another bank closed in three days!! Nationwide you need to update your policies and your customer service.

We opened our new bank accounts here few years ago. The bank personnel was really nice and helpful. They explained everything we asked in detail, which shows that they really know and care. Thanks!

This is about as good as it gets, superb staff, always smartly dressed, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Never had a problem what so ever in the 15 years that I have been with them. This is the "magic team" they make every effort to solve your problem, and they usually do. A special thank you to Jared, this guy had been my rock since I fell on hard times.If you want the best in honesty, quality of service, politeness and professionalism, go to Nationwide, I did, best choice I've ever made.

Have used this branch for years excellent staff and very helpful.With me being self employed and needing change,they always went the extra mile to make sure they got me the change.Still use that branch but not so much for change as I have cut back a lot.but again a fantastic group of ladies.
