Lovely food section now. Easy returns too with the machine. It's just gets too busy at the weekend, which isn't their fault.

My husband and I went into Gemini cafe at 11.30 for a drink and a snack but I couldn't believe how disgusting it was. I counted around 20 free tables all still with dirty cups and plates left on so there wasn't a clear or clean table to sit on. We emptied one table ourselves and I went to order. There were about 20 people waiting as only 3 out of the 8 ordering points were open apparently as there weren't enough staff to cope if all 8 were open. We came away, along with many others, deciding not to visit again. The Manager certainly needs a lesson on how to run a clean Cafe but when asked to see him/her apparently there wasn't one in attendance. M&S should be ashamed as in all my 60 years of shopping and eating in many a store it was never like it was today. Dreadful

Since when did Marks and Spencer decide that service was not an important part of its proposition? I went to buy homewear, and selected a few glass vases. You had to take care as plenty of the stock on the shelves had chips and shouldn't be on sale. Then I found that every till is self service. I asked a member of staff how I could get glass bubble wrapped and was told I would have to go to the refund counter and queue there. Just one person serving and a long queue. This despite lots of staff hanging round merchandising, ticking forms on clipboards etc etc. No sense of any customer service. After 10 minutes I put the items back on the shelf and walked out. What a sorry state this firm has become

I think the food hall is good for the food however it?s very busy and the pizzas easily sell out very fast and need restocking along with other items. Good quality food and a nice place to shop. However the cafe does have plates from last tables and need clearing as people leave and then there is no where to sit down.

Best M+S around. Lots of parking and selection and quality of food is outstanding. My only gripe is these new fridge doors. You can't get to the food if someone is standing there with a door open and if both sides of the aisle have people opening the doors, you can't get past. Please get rid.
All staff super friendly.

Arrived 8 minutes after the cafe closed (can't find anywhere online that says the cafe closes earlier than the store) and was spoken to in a very condescending manner by a member of staff for not knowing the closing time

We loved the fact that the cafe has a balcony and especially as today was so warm. The store is huge so be prepared and speaking of the cafe, the menu is larger and more varied than other M&S stores (nice food)

Carole in the clothes section this evening was great. Told us about a parent club on the app to save us money on our purchase and future baby grow purchases. A credit to your company.

I bought a few refillable own brand homecare products wile visiting a friend. I would like to add they are very nice. However now I can?t recycle them / use the refill scheme. I thought my M&S stores Manchester Trafford Centre or Warrington Genimi would have them but no they don?t. Very disappointing as now I?m stuck with them. It?s tuned out to be an expensive purchase.
