Got to be honest now, this KFC ( at Latchford, Warrington ) has put me off using KFC anywhere.
The last two times has been down to staff attitude.
A couple of years ago they were friendly and helpful.
No customers in the premises today.
I don't like to use the ordering machines, as I get the impression that the customer cannot find the best value on them.
KFC pricing seems to bamboozle you with different options, possibly designed to confuse the customer in to over paying.
When I pointed out what I consider to be an anomaly on the price, I said that you don't appear to be helping the customers get the best prices.
Putting that comment to the member of staff on the counter, she replied that it wasn't her, the company set the price.
She didn't seem to get that when I said " you don't appear ", that because she was the face of the company, I was suggesting KFC and not her personally.
She didn't want to be helpful and told me to use the ordering machine, because it was no different trying to order at the counter.
Obviously I was disturbing her whilst hanging about around the counter.
What was my problem with the anomaly??
Nearly everywhere you buy something ( not just JFC ) you get better value the more you order.
3 pieces of chicken £5.49.
6 pieces of chicken £11.49.
Therefore, 3 pieces of chicken x two portions = £10.98, which is £0.51 pence cheaper than buying the 6 pieces.
Decent companies who want to give their customers the best value, should be pointing that out and give the customer better value for the larger order.
The customer shouldn't have to scrutinise the prices to make sure they are not being unnecessarily over charged.
My order was for my grandchildren and because of the couldn't care less, unhelpful attitude, I left and took my business elsewhere. ( as I did on my previous visit, when they told me that the drive through was closed, after sitting in the queue behind another vehicle/customer, who they served )
This encounter therefore took me to McDonald's, at the Poplars service station next to the A50/M56/M6.
The staff there are always so polite and courteous.
Maybe the KFC manager at Latchford would do well to drive up the road and pay it a visit, see and learn how a customer should be treated and pass that information on to his substandard members of staff, it would certainly help to retain customers business.
( I see from the negative reviews, the manager always says " we'll try and improve ", the problem is you don't, you just make it sound like you are saying the right thing. )

Been to drive though a few times now.
Twice now had items missing,got boneless bucket and the popcorn chicken missing!!
Not good when you have grandchildren staying over for a treat night,very disappointed!!!

Ordered the chicken wings and mini fillets. Chicken wings are on fire, to the extent that you cant enjoy them. Thats not the end of the world. The whole family woke up in the middle of the night being sick. Kids didnt go to school, adults had to stay home. Not going to this KFC anymore. They must review their kitchen hygiene procedures urgently!!!

Called there just ordered 4 mini fillet burgers plain - asked 3 times make sure they are plain would not let me pay cash I even had correct money still said no while I watched my burgers be made with everything on them I even said they have not been even made plain have they she said no they have not ? so 4 burgers gone to waste and staff was not even bothered I can tell you it's going down hill and fast I would not be surprised if this one closes down bare in mind this was the second one we called the one on winwick road was down to one window with 15 + cars queuing 100% never coming back to KFC I'm done

Staff were very rude and argumentative even though it was them who were wrong.no apology given after they noticed their mistake.just gave us our order and shut the window on us.if i could give minus stars..i would

2 hours before the store closes, only takeaway food is possible. Impossibly bad and rude service. Hopefully the hygiene of the food doesn't suffer as much as the service at KFC.

Low stars are for would you be happy if you needed a poo and no toilet paper in either toilet adding to the drama wee over the toilet seat it?s a good job Lidl next door had a toilet with role in it my advice inspect the toilets more at this kfc shop other than that the service was good

How do you get away with charging customers for items that are missing? Can?t order here anymore I keep getting ripped off with missing items. They send my box meal just in it?s box without it been sealed in a paper bag. Don?t feel safe eating it as been open to the elements. Sort it out it?s not hard to get peoples orders right. Cost of living and you do this to people, billion pound company :/
