Visited today for the first time with my family and first impressions were very good. Walked in the place was easily accessible and clean and tidy, were greeted immediately and sat at our table and provided with a high chair. After we placed our order drinks arrived quickly and food shortly after, ordered mixed grill with upgrade, and bbq chicken stack with a side of loaded onion rings. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly, all but the steak on the mixed grill was extremely tough and I found it impossible to eat. But everything else was amazing, toilets kept clean and tidy also. 10/10 can't wait to try something new on the menu but will definitely order the loaded rings again.Edit - basically been in every day for a week, simply can't get enough, tried various things on the menu and its always on point. Kids build your own sundae is amazing aswell

Love this place just wish there was more harvester restaurants as most have now closed down. Staff are always helpful and the refill soft drinks and unlimited salad is a bonus.

Great service from the girl who served us.We had half roast chicken which was really juicy and a steak which just melted. Didn?t expect much being a harvester a lot have gone down hill but this one we really enjoyedKid-friendliness: Given a little pack when entering for little one to play with and there was plenty of options for different ages kids to choose from on the menu

I didn't see too many Waiter staff but only two ladies (waitresses). Outstanding service! I was puzzled how they both managed the floor so well.Just the area where customers wait to be let in seems blocking the access especially when we are in groups even if the wait isn't too long. Hence 4 for atmosphere. The dining area was clean and hygienic

Walked in, 2 tables occupied, 1 already had food!! Waited 20 mins for food, saw our food under the pass, 3 members of ataff stood chatting ignoring our order, still waited to be served food!! When member of staff brought food over, plates were hot but food was barely lukewarm, brought to attention of member of staff and said we wouldn't be staying for order to be cooked again!!! Told a table who had just walked in not to waste their time as service abysmal.

For a type of bar & grill it fit our purpose very well.We received good service and very good food and drink. None of this go to the bar, give your table number and order nonsense. You're shown to your table and waited on as should be. The only thing I spotted just by observing was the chairs are in need of replacing or refurbishing as they are well worn. Other than that I will be going back.

We?ve been coming to harvester for years now and today we discovered, that not only was the Pepsi machine broken, but they've removed their build-your-own option! We?re devastated! This was a brilliant option and such great value! This is honestly the one reason we come to harvester. The range of individual options for the build-your-own was incredible! The regular breakfast options are no longer such good value. Also, there is still no cereal bar open since removing it back during the covid pandemic. We are now heavily debating going somewhere else for breakfast. This is truly disappointing news :( PLEASE BRING BUILD-YOUR-OWN BACK!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

The server was very friendly and the meal was lovely. The cost of the meals was on the high side but the cost of the drinks was extortionate. £3.75 for a glass of orange juice and nearly £6 for a shandy. It bumped the bill right up beyond what I can reasonably

Enjoyed our visit last night at 6pm just as it was starting to get busy, our server was Amber and she got everything right, from being attentive, prompt and serving our food in good time. The food was really good and well priced.Parking: Plenty of space

Restaurant was quiet but staff offered a warm welcome and showed us to the seat of our choice. Atmosphere was pleasant and food was hot and appetising. Salad bar was well stocked and kept refreshed. Service was polite and friendly.Parking: No time limit

The young lady Olivia who served us throughout our stay was amazing. She was very polite and well mannered. The food itself was also 10/10 we could not say anything bad about our visit.

Going down hill quickly. One of the key points for a Harvester breakfast over other dine in locations was the option for a buffet style continental breakfast (which was stopped during COVID to never return with things like unlimited toast and juice) and the other was the willingness for any meal customisation was always accepting, this is now not the case and you can either have the meal as it comes or nothing at all.And yet after a recent menu change, I find myself sat here with my family while they eat and I have nothing because changes to the menu are no longer allowed, possibly because the chefs are either robots, unable to change their programmings or more likely, shareholders don't like their customers and will likely fall by the wayside in the near future with overpriced "per glass" juice and an inability to cater for the customer. So should you see a menu item you mostly like the look of but a significant portion of it you wouldn't actively choose eat, they won't replace food items around, it's either as per menu or choose something else resulting in you paying for it and wasting food or like myself, refusing to eat while staring at the competition across the road waiting for your children to finish eating (if it wasn't for the children I would have walked out the door, but as any parent knows, attempting to move hangry kids after entering a restaurant is not something you do lightly)Maybe the company may survive the change, but I would think their core returning customers will slowly fade away for other alternatives, similar I guess how ToysRus faded into administration because they too also kept driving prices while forgetting what made them popular in the first place (like meal customisations, unlimited juice, toast and cereal.)If you want any of those things, juice is now £2 a glass, toast £1.50 for two slices and cereal £2.50 a bowl, and when you have children who are as children always are, picky, then these made the difference over choosing harvester to their rivals. As previously a family oriented USP, they have now lost that aspect as it costs cash strapped families 25-35% more for a breakfast to include the hidden extras, these will only serve to push families away when they realise these facts also.Sad to say, after 15+ years of repeat business, I won't be returning in the future.Rated;Food as zero* due to not eatingService as 1* as no customized meal choices can be made
