Store is so small and claustrophobic. There was a kind young lady staff, but an older blonde foreign maybe Eastern European accent (manager? Not sure) who was super rude, rushing us, backhanded comments.
Seems like other reviews have also complained about her.
Heads up they don?t measure feet without socks.

Bought some trainers for my grandson recently and the staff was fab and very patient, getting down different shoes and sizes and foot measuring, with him being a very broad footed they was great really friendly and made sure he got the perfect fit , grandson really happy and love shopping here. Extremely rude manager who wouldn't even consider letting my baby boy try on shoes without socks... it's 28C out there lady. Plus you sell sandals! Ridiculous. Won't be back here

I have often visited this shop with my grandchildren and found the staff very helpful. I can't praise Lynne enough for helping on Wednesday evening, just before closing, when the school shoes couldn't be found. She went above and beyond helping a stressed grandparent. Many thanks Lynne, it was really appreciated.

Service is really poor and not bothered kinda attitude. Middle of the holidays and zero stock not even offered to order them for us left to do it myself from home. Just really poor in every sense

Always a nice experience visiting this Clark's. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are also working well with the new guidelines and making sure all customers/staff are safe.

I usually gibmve this shop a wide berth. Staff are rude..usually. lady who served us with blonde hair was lovely. There was another woman huffing and puffing and scouting with paperwork all over the seats that customers sit on. I think the staff think they are working in Harrods not a shoe shop! If they don't like the job..give it to someone who does!

Excellent customer service, couldn't do enough to help. Shop is only a short walk from a carpark and is easily accessible.

This is a lovely little shoe shop right in the center of the village. The staff are lovely and helpful and always acknowledge you even if they're busy with other customers. They don't mind if you don't buy anything, if you just browse, if you just want the kids feet measured even. They have a loyalty scheme for the kids - I think you can get 10% off. Their sales are quite good but the only thing that lets them down is that their prices are absolutely standard! Even their sales prices are the same every year, its set in stone i think! They sell the usual handbags and shoe cleaners but really their service is so good, always full of staff, always happy to help so I would recommend them.
