Birchwood asda. So this is a mixed review, middle of the road as far as stars go. The shop has a great selection lots of things that can be pricey but also lots of things that can be very good in price and very reasonable. Now the service you get from asdas delivery is awful I've had them moaning at me as I'm on the third floor and doing loud sighs. When you get a delivery on their site you might also get over charged, food missing or substituted by stuff that's Completely silly, I wanted newborn nappies so I got substituted age 3 pull up pants! Anyway that's the good the bad and the ugly!

Absolutely shocking service at birchwood asda this morning (Tue 14th January) you have 3 staff having a mother's meeting & looking at me as if I 2 heads when I needed assistance at the self checkout. I have had several issues with lazy staff at birchwood nothing will change.

If this is a superstore I dread to think what the non superstores are like. Aisles always cluttered and untidy. Not enough staff or stock.

I really don't mind this store, but WHY the loud music?
I'm sure NOBODY listens to the bloody racket.
I prefer Sainsburys, peaceful, quiet well ordered, a pleasant experience in comparison!

This store was never the best but it?s really gone downhill recently. Lack of stock especially fruit and veg. Their scan and shop is always crashing so you end up having to scan the items again. Customer service desk has no staff so you have to go to the cigarette/lottery kiosk.
Awful store.
Oh and all their trolleys are knackered.

I was in store today with way son who is non verbal ASD. He takes his snake Teddy everywhere and recently also a small keyring with a plush pony. He dropped ?pony? and as any mum with an autistic child can imagine, the meltdown started to build. We unfortunately couldn?t find pony but I would like to praise the ladies in the shop floor who sprang straight into action, searching, asking, contacting customer services, requesting a tannoy call, even offering him to choose a toy from the shelf and most of all completely understanding as I have him wear a sunflower lanyards to make people aware of a hidden disability the staff instantly recognised this and the situation and could not do enough to help. Thank you so much for understanding and going above and beyond.

Had to hunt for a basket, to begin with. I asked for help to find a product, the reply was "I don't know" so I had to continue looking . At the checkout I was unable to use my voucher via the app. Again, i asked for support and was told I couldn't use it as the system update was preventing it. This lack of consideration appears to be common place, as each time I shop I observe it's declining approach to customers satisfaction. If not for the convenience I would shop elsewhere so maybe it would be worth going the extra miles as ASDA doesn't seem to want to.
