We had a wine/cheese night booked at another venue that we unfortunately got the date wrong for so popped into the wheatsheaf for a few drinks and nibbles. Amy was absolutely fantastic and put together her own version of 3 whites, 3 reds and 3 sparkling wines with The Deli sharing platter for us. Her knowledge on the wines and just her general attitude made our experience and evening so much fun. We have eaten a lot already here and have never been disappointed but Amy truly topped an evening off for us with her spontaneity. ?

We had the most wonderful time at the Wheatsheaf for our afternoon anniversary meal. We brough our dog Florence too (it was also her birthday) and we had the terrace, which we had to ourselves, like a mini private function. The food was delicious, everyone said so. The time between courses was timed to perfection. From booking and arranging this with Liam, to visiting the venue and being supported by Erin with drinks choices and changes we made, nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely vibe at this venue, gorgeous decor, yes but it's the people that work there that create the lovely atmosphere. Can't wait to go again. It was wonderful!

My wife and I had a spontaneous night away somewhere random. We found the last room at this hotel and we landed lucky. A great hotel, lovely comfy room, good food and drink. Friendly staff, shout out to Amy whom checked us in and out.
We will be back for another night for sure.

I was in a few weeks ago for lunch and had the chicken tandoori wrap. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed every single mouthful. Really nice atmosphere and buzz.

Great Service, were really looked after by both Amy and Sophie. Free upgrade due to a special occasion - room decor and comfort both first class. Also food at the restaurant top quality, couldn't fault it.

I ate in the restaurant: Good quality food and they replaced fries with a salad but I was disappointed. i checked menu for Gluten free options before booking and there seemed like plenty of choice. However, I was told the fryer is not gluten free so I couldn't have many of the options including the fries as I am coeliac.
Please keep a fryer gluten free or remove the GF on the fried food ....
Car park is difficult to find.

Wonderful warm welcome and all the staff are so friendly and although we only stayed for one night we had a lovely time. Room was superb, extremely clean and with a great big comfy bed! Thankyou all for making our trip so pleasurable.

Avoid this hotel, booked 2 double rooms back in January to be told today they cannot accommodate us on the 2nd night as they overlooked a wedding which was booked. We are staying bank holiday August weekend so the chances of finding somewhere are not good. Tried to call the hotel and keep getting cut off. Disgusting service
Have since emailed Amy twice with no response. Bad customer service

Advertised an offer in the toilets for another pub they own 6 miles away. When asked for it completely denigned it until I showed them it at the male urinal. Manager, a lady, refused to look in the male toilet. Good job theyve not gone non binary trans toilets yet. Don't advertise what you could have somewhere else . ?

We had Father?s Day dinner at the wheatsheath Sandbach and it was wonderful !
