Food is great, particularly breakfast and Sunday lunch. Rooms and spacious and well-appointed but a tiny bit of attention to detail needed and dusty in some areas but really well stocked with everything you need. Staff are all fantastic, so friendly and really can't do enough to help and make the experience overall superb.

Didn't stay,ate here sat lunch time.
Food overall pretty good,but if you like your big portions this is NOT for you! But if you want nice quality ingredients cooked well then give it a try!

This was our first visit to the pub, on Mother?s Day. The service really was appalling, especially since we had already been asked to pre order! We were seated on time at 6-15, starters arrived at 6-50, mains to follow at 7-35 and desserts at 8-25. By the time we had eaten it was two and a half hours! It was clear from the sheer number of people that the pub was struggling to maintain a reasonable flow to service. Pre booking our order only provided the pub with the quantity of food needed, not on making the service effective!

Great hotel in the depths of the Cheshire countryside. A picturesque location by the River Wheelock and opposite St Leonard's Church in Warmingham. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the restaurant has a good range of tasty food, it's always busy though so book ahead. And, the staff are delightful, friendly, efficient and kind hearted.
Oh and dogs are welcome too.

Fantastic food and pub. Lovely surroundings. Starter came fine but took an hour to get our Sunday roast main. Would have been 5 star otherwise.

Absolutely amazing! The service and staff were fabulous. My dog and I only stopped in for one night and they were more than accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and check-in and out seamless. The dog even got his own goody box. He still plays with his toy now, some weeks later. The place is a must for anyone traveling with a 4 legged best friend and even if not, go anyway! You won't regret it! The bar allows dogs so you can sip your evening drink with him at your side. I'm definitely going to revisit next time I'm passing through. However, since I'm from South Wales that'll probably be a year away. ?

Lovely setting next to a river opposite the village church. Clean with good hospitality and tributes to Bentley motors the localy based luxury performance car manufacturers complimented by excellent parking facilities.
