Really disappointed - an hour ago I ordered a mocha and explained I was lactose intolerant and needed oat milk. The man making my drink used the wrong milk but did not own up to it when I challenged it. I have been so unwell since drinking this, its okay to make a mistake but to lie and cover it up to save face is just awful. Avoid if you have an allergy.

Great service from the 2 lovely young ladies working in the morning on the 16th October in the northbound branch inside the services. Both seemed to be really enjoying their job and made my day work a small drawing of a pumpkin and the message safe travels written on the lid. Nice to see young people that don't just do the minimum to get by.

We specifically went to Sandbach as they were listed as having vegan options at the Fresh Food cafe! We ended up with three vegetarian breakfasts instead of vegan ones, with no plant based bacon either. The staff member, although lovely, seemed unaware of the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Better training needed. Altogether an expensive and disappointing experience!

My glasses suddenly broke and whilst quite blind, Hana and Kim from the Sandbach Southbound branch were absolutely amazing! Even though I just asked for tools to do it myself, they went the extra mile of fixing my glasses themselves and doing as much as they could to ensure my glasses wouldn't break again for the rest of my journey. Honestly saved my night as I still had a very long drive and unlike other staff at Roadchef (at McDonald's) they actually stepped up to help. Big love to Hana and Kim :D

Probably the worst motorway services in the country in its present state. There was extensive building work going on but it is horrible anyway. The car park is way too small and people were fighting for places. It is also awkward to navigate and dangerous in its design and layout. The southbound area is the worst. Very big queues at each outlet so we gave up waiting. Toilets had not been cleaned well. It was untidy and messy. Didn't bother sticking around.

Don't stop if you have a baby and disabled person in the car. We sat waiting for ages for either a family or disabled bay. Every one of them were taken by lazy people eating in car, not one child or disability badge in any of them. We were so desperate to stop, feed baby, eat and use loos and nappy change too. Yes, it was busy but spaces, unsuitable for our needs were available further back. Management, please check.

The food eating area was dirty to say the best with food and litter all over the floor. The floor which looked clean with sticky and that made it feel even more dirty. The wait for McDonalds was almost 20 minutes and actually not that busy. The toilets were dirty and smelt strongly and not in a good way. The car park was a mess with litter. This is by far the worst services I have been too.

Absolutely appalling customer services. Clearly did not want to serve me or listen to my order. The staff continued to talk to each other. When served my order which was then missing the syrup I asked for (as they weren't listening) the staff member was rude when asked if the syrup was in, requested I needed to pay for it as he hadn't charged me. If it had been a genuine error, absolutely, but I got the distinct feeling as I approached the till it was an inconvenience.
