Seniors Golf Day.

Cheap and very cheerful. Course is in decent condition, especially for the price.

Played 19 August. Tees are worn, little grass and very uneven. Fairways are similar. Greens are terrible. Bare patches all over. Price has gone up for visitors this year. Value for money? 3 out of 10. We will not be going back and would not recommend. Only plus, very nice buggies.

Unfortunately, this was one of the poorest golf experiences I?ve had in quite some time. The course conditions were extremely disappointing: the fairways were dry and bare with little to no grass, while the greens were neglected, covered in leaves, and marked with large divots. It gave the impression that course maintenance and care are not a priority. £25 a round is extremely overpriced for this course especially considering Barleston is the same price. Regrettably, I would not recommend this course and do not plan to return

I have to say one of the worst courses of golf I have played in a long time. It is as if the workers or owners don?t care. Unplayable, fairways were rock hard mud no grass and the greens were a disgrace, covered in leaves and huge divots. Very disappointed and will never play here again.

MALKINS BANK
Allen and I have just returned from a weekend at Allen's old golf club of Malkin's Bank. The place has been renovated to a very high standard by the new owners. Entering the bar area (The 19th Hole) is like stepping into a 5-star hotel. Subtle lighting, plush upholstery and a large artificial tree all created a wonderful ambience. The seating area outside is very user friendly for those of us with mobility issues. The sumptuous food is second to none. We had a a wonderful weekend made all the more special by the friendly and welcoming staff.
Thank you Malkins Bank we will be back again next year.?

£35 for a buggy, cant event take out after 3.30pm as the owner has changed the rules. Cant use a gold buggy on a golf course in the afternoon on one of the hottest days of the year. They have a key box for late buggys but no more.

Golf course was in good condition considering the hot weather we had had lately. The course is good for those who are experienced novice players and those who are confident in their game.
We had hoped to hire a buggy but unfortunately they were all booked out as it was the hottest of days.
Each hole is tree lined so you need to keep the ball straight, saying that the rough had been cut back which made finding a rogue shot easier to find.
The club house was quiet so service was quick.
