The food is good pub grub. Service/staff are very friendly. Clean and good toilet facilities.

Charlie and Heidi were very welcoming and friendly. Could not fault them at all, nothing was too much trouble. Food piping hot and very tasty. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious.

Amazing service by Ollie and Emma. Fantastic food. Lovley Veggie option of toad in the hole. A slightly wobbly table 10. But otherwise highly enjoyable. Will be going again.

We were a bit shocked when we ordered a main menu of fish cakes and chips. I got one very small starter size fish cake that was tasteless a handful of chips li counts 8 full size chips and few small crispy bits. The only only other thing on the plate was a very small portion of rocket salad. With Jo dressing. It was like a small starter. We asked for another portion of chips which we got at Jo charge. I am appalled at the portions. Definitely would it go back. How ever the staff are very attentive and friendly and understood about the portions and agreed with us that they should not be a main course. There are so many amazing restaurants in Poynton where we live with portions sizes that are what they should be. Amazing quality food and excellent staff. I think for the Bitley ash this is not the way forward. We will it be going back
