I have stayed here twice now.
It is a bit out of the way, but there's plenty of parking and useful amenities nearby.
The staff are lovely and provide consistently good customer service; always happy to help with any issues.
Rooms are clean, well-kept, and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night?s rest.
You can request an iron if needed, and each room comes with a kettle, tea, milk, etc.
with plenty more available at the front desk if you run out.

Stayed here for 1 night as we had a funeral in the area the next day.
We stayed in room 113 on the first floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the car park and pub. Room was clean and basic,cant complain for the price. Staff were lovely, we had tea in the pub which was nice i recommend if your staying here,costa coffee is close by too.
Some noise from aircraft as it is on the flight path and we had the window open and a few cars coming and going but other than that no issues. I would stay again,very busy for a tuesday, i was suprised,thought it would be quiet, so that says something. Hand/bodywash provided and tea & coffee. ?

I thought that te room was clean covered the basics, room was on the small size, only criticism I had was that considering it was a 4 day bank holiday weekend and after chatting to staff they had clearly planned on having a bumper weekend booking wise, this appeared not to be the case and the hotel was quiet, this however was not fairly reflected in their pricing structure and on checking alternative accommodation in the local area they too had not sold out as anticipated but they did the decent and sensible option of lowering their pricing for this period, not a process followed by the Travel lodge group hence low occupancy rate and what I believe to be a high room rate for a small basic room. I feel that lessons could be learned and occupancy would increase, thus increasing their overall revenue.

It's okay. Clean small basic no frills accommodation, A little disappointed with the pricing structure as I booked late on the day for same night stay, the hotel was extremely quiet yet the price was not reduced in any way even though I booked an extra nights stay, no room upgrade nothing, poor compared to what their rival businesses offer.

Front desk staff Jenny was extremely helpful, polite and very willing to promptly sort out a small issue we had with our bedroom, which we are very grateful for.
Room is simple, but it does what it says on the tin; comfortable beds and pillows, clean, bathroom has shampoo/shower gel dispenser and had soap dispenser.
TV with a range of open channels to chose from, a desk, small tea, milk and coffee supplies with a kettle and a couple of mugs.
Stopover well worthy for a couple of nights. Highly recommended.
Ps. Only downside is the pub next door, which the hotel staff explained it had changed hands in Sep/2024 and breakfast is not served anymore. We also noticed, when going there for a meal, that the quality of food and service, unfortunately, is to desire.
There is a small Co-Op and a Costa drive-thru/indoors seats, as breakfast options.

Rip off spent thousands there in last 12 months in my last week they decided to charge me over 300 pounds for the weds and Thurs ,no reason for this ,nothing special in area ,usually rates for the two nights about 65 pounds each so l want 170 pound refund ,profiteering that's all ,disgusted will not stay in Travelodge again and my last visit l was there six weeks,ken porter

All fire doors in the passage were locked open. Small room, tiny shower room with no working extractor. Great staff. Really poor pub opposite. Used because of the advertisements on tv, not again.
