Previously had good experiences but went in today and a member of staff was so rude to both myself and the customer before me, that I've contacted Shell directly to raise this. I'm still frankly sat here thinking - did that just happen?
On a quick scroll of other reviews, the same name is mentioned relating to having a rude attitude.
As well as his attitude, he also failed to add my points on my card correctly. When I went back in again to resolve that, he came up with a variety of excuses as to why he couldn't help with that.
Looking forward to hearing back from Shell.

Absolutely disgusting toilets the floor looked like it?s not been cleaned in months and the pan was filthy, visit was 6/6/25

Today, I bought some meals here,including the two Lime Coke,the price of ANY Two Coke was £3. But,finally, it was £3.25,then I told a staff member in the cashier and he said the machine showed £3.25. I went to the fridge to check again, and the price was £3. And then I told him again. Unfortunately,he still had no response to me,just he thought I had made the wrong. Poorly.......I sometimes to here have a good serve but not today. So I think 25p is no big deal.

Visited yesterday to pick up a couple of grocery items. Stood at the till where 3 members of staff were and not one acknowledged me. It was only when another member of staff from over near the bakery part said, is anyone serving this lady ?
They then looked up and one eventually served me . Shocking customer service,if they were busy they should have at least acknowledged I was there !! Different generation !

Needed to use the toilet; but didn?t want to let my disable son use it apparently it is always Brocken at night time. Marks attitude was rude.

Details online state the station has a car wash facility! It doesn?t! And having driven 5 miles to use it, I was extremely annoyed at having checked online before I set out, only to find the details are wrong! Basics really! And not a small omission of a complete service! Poor from Shell!Edit! Having now read other reviews! This information has been wrong and reported as wrong 4 yrs ago!!! Stars down to 1 no excuse when previously reported!

Usually very good. My go to station. However, this evening I pulled in and went to take fuel but all pumps were locked in and I couldn't lift them out. No member of staff to be seen at the till to ask. I thought the place was open 24hours. Very peculiar situation, and annoying! I had no choice but to drive on with little petrol left.

Filled up £100 diesel, went to pay with cash and initially refused as I had 2 x £50 notes.Manager was called in and was incredibly rude, aggressive in approach to dealing with situation and said I?m not allowed to use £50 notes on the premises. Accused me of swearing at her staff directly, when I expressed something outloud at the situation at 7am in the morning when I?m simply trying to pay for fuel prior to work, nothing offensive or aimed at anyone there. Common swish oils prevail here.I advised the manager that if a customer isn?t allowed to use £50 notes, then there should be signs to say so, she simply said ?we don?t need to??. Well this is the consequence of not displaying signage, zero common sense.Treated like a criminal by miserable manager for trying to use cash, absolute power trip, eventually after saying I had no means of other payment, on this occasion I was ?allowed? by the power hungry lady to use my Bank of England cash, but I must never bring £50 notes onsite again?.If the bank literally around the corner is dispensing £50 notes, then why can?t Shell take them? It is legal tender after all.No common sense, no customer service.

Went to get a meal deal as by far the best sandwiches for a meal deal if not a little more pricey, then the problems occured, why can't I get fruit with this and have to get chocolate or crisps? I'm fat enough and trying to do something about it and because I wanted pineapple instead of a twirl or monster munch I'm being punished???
