Clean rooms, no lift in the hotel, so had to contend with the stairs and 2 cases. If the hotel had a lift and the rooms were new with AC, it would be a 5 all-

As always, lovely staff. My room is clean and tidy. Perfectly situated for me. There's a restaurant next-door too so after a long day I didn't need to drive out.Food & drinks: Nice restaurant/pub on-site. Friendly atmosphere, with welcoming staff.

No heating in bathroom. Apart from that, one of the best premier inn experiences I have had. Location great, service great food very good. Quite and perfect.

Does what it says on the tin. We stayed 2 nights whilst visiting family. They were very accommodating and gave us two joined rooms because we?re staying as a family with a toddler.

This Premier Inn was chosen as it was a very convenient location for my family who live local that we were visiting. I have not stayed in a Premier Inn before and so wasn't sure what to expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when I got to the room the first thing that I noticed was the huge bed. I stand 6ft 4ins and was very comfortable. The room was very clean and well appointed. I would be pleased to recommend a Premier Inn and will definitely stay in one again.

Staff are really welcoming, helpful, and friendly. It had been a cold, wet day, so I was really looking forward to a cosy room. However, the room was really cold and the heating wouldn't work. They even left an extra electric heater in the room, which I turned on, but that barely made any difference. This is really not good enough for room at this price. The bathroom didn't have any toothpaste and only had those nasty liquid soap dispensers strapped to the wall above the sink and by the shower. There were good points, but they didn't make up for how cold it was.The bed was comfy, and the sheets were clean. The TV was good, and there were tea making facilities with English breakfast tea and coffee available. There were plentiful power points for charging phones, etc.Outside was a playground which looked great fun for children. There were also ramps for wheelchair access.Plenty of free parking. There was also a limited amount of Free WiFi, more if you paid extra for it.Overall, it would be a good room when the temperature outside is around 20°C. Otherwise, it's not one that I'd like to stay in again, unless the heating/air conditioning gets sorted out.Rooms: It is well equipped but has no toothpaste, also lacking decent soap and shower gel.The heating is atrocious and simply doesn't work.Nearby activities: Great little playground for children.Noteworthy details: Free car park.Limited amount of free WiFi.

Clean room in a good location for my work needs. The service however was a different story. I arrived around 21:30 following a fairly long drive there on a Sunday evening. The receptionist was fine with me until I declined to declare my nationality. She said it was a mandatory requirement and when I asked to see the policy she huffed and puffed whilst printing a statement that referred to an immigration Act and verbally informing me that it's a requirement everywhere- she had been asked for her passport on a recent trip abroad. Weary and feeling very uncomfortable following the telling off, I was finally given a key to my room.I travel regularly for work and our company has an account with Premier Inn, so I frequent them nationwide. Although some sites do ask for your nationality, this is the first time that I have been made to feel uncomfortable upon declining to share the information. I do not see how where I was born has any relevance to me purchasing a service. I wouldn't be asked this at the hairdressers!I will not be returning to this venue.

This is possibly THE worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. I'll start with the positive (the only positive), the staff were friendly and helpful. The negatives. £119 for a small double room that had a seriously small bathroom. Opened the curtains and the curtain rail came down, the rooms are dated and in dire need of an upgrade. The toilet and/or basin had been fitted at a slant so felt ill just sat on it. The bed (which at Premier Inn are usually really comfortable) was uncomfortable and lumpy and again felt like it hadn't been built correctly as it was on a slant like the toilet/basin. There was no Wi-fi in the room, yes, I connected but as soon as I closed the room door from the corridor, the Wi-fi disconnected. I'm not one for writing bad reviews and would prefer to talk to staff on checkout......but there was no staff on the desk Sunday morning, I stood waiting for 5 minutes and gave up, so decided to write this review. This is one Hotel that Premier Inn seem to have forgotten about and needs some attention to bring it into the 21st Century. I 100% won't be booking this hotel ever again.

Couldn't fault our stay. We had two adjoining rooms, which were lovely. Spacious and no issues. The adjoining door wasn't unlocked when we checked in, but the staff did this during our outing for dinner. The staff were pleasant, and most helpful. The staff on duty at breakfast were helpful and very friendly too. The pillows and bed were comfy for our two nights, as well. Usually you can't get comfy with pillows when staying elsewhere, but I was most surprised about the pillows in our rooms. We need to return to the area in November and already securing our stay there again. Would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral in Cheadle. I specifically chose it as it was away from flight path yet not too far from Cheadle. We were all very pleasantly surprised by how friendly all the staff were, how comfortable our rooms were, how easy it was to get parking (we arrived very late at night), how clean the whole hotel was and how tasty our breakfast was the next morning. The staff at both locations, the restaurant next door and the hotel were so helpful and kind. It was such an enjoyable experience despite the purpose of our visit. We arrived tired and stressed after a long journey up the M1/M6 from London but could not fault anything and had a restful nights sleep, were fed well and ready for the day ahead. Will definitely revisit this hotel for future trips to this part of the world when visiting family and friends.
