I have not come across a worse company in my 30 years of business. Firstly the company could not update my card terminal to my new bank account details. It took months of phone calls to pester them, they past me from one person to another and still it wasn't done. I then cancelled my contract and left the company. 16MONTHS LATER!:-They take £406.00 out of my bank account and say they never received my terminal., which was sent back by DPD the day I left them. Still trying to get my money back 2 weeks later after 5 phone calls and being told different information from different people. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am reporting them for fraud. ZERO STARS. One star is flattering them.

St clears Carmarthen petrol station no longer does payzon and if you go to spar after post office closes they refuse to give me electric and gas no other place to go so if you run out you go with out so if you're working and call in spar st clears after work when post office is closed the staff will refuse you.

Disgusting, cancelled my terminal which was told out of contract as it had changes from partnership to sole trader they saud send back machine in which i did, then they renewed without my knowledge never told me and billed me no letters or calls to then send me email stating i owe £1143.00 for missing 5 £16.79 payments which i was told i no longer had. Wont help and now put me in debt, stay away these people dont care even when they can see i always paid, im very ill and there not interested. They dont have our telephone recording eithier, how convinent, credit control are a disgrace dont ever use this company

If I could give zero stars I would. The worst thing I ever did, I won't use it as there is an authorisation charge for every transaction which I was not told about,making it more costly than my previous provider. There is no honesty or transparency and once your signed up you're tied in for a year's contract. My local agent won't reply to my messages, emails or phone calls. ?

Just got an invoice from takepayments (the new name for payzone). It was for £0.70 described as an 'excess transaction fee'. When I phoned to ask what it was for I was told it was because I was doing more business with them than I'd estimated at the start of my contract!!!! Also I was told there was a 48p invoice for the previous month (for the same reason) which they had forgotten to invoice me for! Am I missing something??? I was also was told that it would cost me a £25 admin fee to change my invoice address to the address of my new location. First time I've come across this in my 58 years. How does a company like this exist? (Probably by keep changing their name).

Zero customer service, trap you into rolling yearly contracts despite sales man saying its a 12 month. Customer service do not reply, do not respond, and have no clue on their own systems. They dont even run their own card services its fulfilled by Barclaycard. So anything you ask they have to put you through. They scam you for PCI charges and tell you lies. Never again. Do not trust or listen to Steven Bridge.

I'm really unhappy with the service I signed up for. My payments have changed every month and have been much more than I agreed to. Being a very small business this has had a negative impact on me and I look forward to being able to cancel my contract. Don't fall for the sales patter there seems to be lots of extras and there are other services which are much more upfront and at less cost. I really wish I'd done a bit more research! :-(

Updated Review - 14.05.2020STAY WELL CLEAR !!!! if only google provided the option to add no stars !!!After numerous attempts to cancel i finally did. 8 months on they are ringing me out the blue to say that they haven't received the terminal. No correspondence since cancellation until now. Blatantly trying exploit my business for additional cash in what is a very difficult time financially for everyone in the country due to the pandemic. Someone needs to report these guys to the watchdog ASAP & put them out of business !!!!!!I DONT recommend this provider. Mis sold the product. They don't charge you for the terminal (all invoices show zero) but you will get SHAFTED ON ALL card transactions (@ 5% per transaction). Very LONG wait times when trying to get through to support / billing / cancellations. Trying to cancel with this firm is mission impossible. Stay well clear !!!!! it took me 1 hour to try and get through to some when trying to cancel. They then said they would have a manager call me back to process the cancellation but he never did. Still trying to cancel after many attempts

Not even worth a one star.almost Impossible to get out of even though I gave notice to leave, they still charge me or are demanding ridiculous money to buy out. As my contracts rolled over again...as they have again apparently no record of my notice..... very convenient!They will constantly lie to you. Also, they promise vouchers to sign up other people. Guess what? No vouchers and pure ignorance from them.DO NOT SIGN UP!!!

I changed to this company in july last year on the promise that my payments would be lower than my previous supplier. Total lies, I was paying 50% more. I phoned to complain, was told that they would lower the payments from the next month, this never happened, I then sold my business in December only to be told I have to keep paying the rental fee and Barclays minimum monthly payment for the rest of my contract. This firm is the worst I've ever dealt with and would not recommend them to anyone.

I could personally confirm experiencing all the negative reviews given on here. Charges were far higher than we were led to believe. We are "rolled" on to 12 months contracts without our knowledge for failing to cancel 60 days in advance. This should be illegal.Their sales rep never returned a single call since we signed up. Service was down on many occasions and repairs were slow.I will be cancelling all my accounts with them before this Friday at the cost of at least £1400 that they've demanded as "loss of earning charge". Yes, it's still worth it for the savings I will be making with my next providers.Payzone, you can keep the money you haven't earned. Rather, you conned many businesses hiding behind dubious legal small print known as your " terms and conditions". Looking at that other reviews and your ratings, it wont be long before you're on your knees. I know many other businesses that are leaving this unscrupulous, unethical and ruthless model of what you call a business.I have 7 different companies four of which are with Payzone: Poundbusterplusmore limited, poundbuster786 limited, poundbusterbargain limited, poundexpress limited. Manchester, Liverpool, Stalybridge and Stockport respectively. You'll have our cancellation letters on your desks next week.I'll copy and paste this review on all other feedback forums for people to beware of you and companies with similar ethics and attitudes.

company!This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. I have a very small business (a hairdressers) and had a card terminal. I was told upon signing up that i had a contract i could leave at any time. I had to give a months notice. After a few months i decided the terminal was not beneficial as charges went up and there were charges i was initially not told about. A fre transactions also never entered my bank and the machine wasn't printing out recipts. I tried to end my contract on various occasions. I was told someone would ring me back or that the particular department i rang couldn't do it. It was coming up to the end of my 12 month contract amd i rang a few days before for a final bill. I was told i had to give 2 months notice and that my contract was going to be automatically renewed. I insisted on getting through to someone to end my contract. I was given an e-mail adress to write to, which i did straight away. I was later e-mailed back to confirm my account was being closed. I then received a bill for over £600 through the post. By this time i had already stopped my direct debit payments. In the letter it stated the charges were for "non payment". I was happy to pay a final bill. I also still have an account open with Barclay card which only paypal can close apparantly. Barclaycard contacted payzone who sent me a letter saying they are not closing it and they not in breach of contract. So i don't know when my monthly charges will stop. This is the biggest of many issues i have had with payzone. Their customer support is very poor. Anyone you speak to over the phone cannot deal with any issues you have. All the numbers they first provided me are a dead line. I have recorded all my conversations and hope they take me to court. I would never advise anyone to ever enter a contract with Payzone!Edited to reply to Payzone. The bill was given AFTER I closed my account. I recieved an email confirming you are following my instructions to end my account, I then cancelled the direct debit, hence why the letter states what day it will be taken out of my bank. THEN you sent me a letter saying YOU closed my account due to cancelling the direct debit. Why would i not cancel my direct debit when my account is already closed? At the pont of me cancelling the direct debit, i owed ZERO. I also previously cancelled my direct debit just so that you ring me as i can never get through to you (although i set it back up during that same call). The ammount of times i have tried to cancel my account with you and nobody has been able to do it is ridiculous. It should take one time only. I would love them to take me to court as i have all calls recorded on my phone (including the ones you missed out in the response letter).I was told i was being given a lower rate if i didn't leave and it didn't happen. I requested a copy of my contract several times and never got one. I had a faulty machine that didnt print recipts and transactions didn't go through. I even rang for more till roll but nobody helped. In addition to this, i sent the terminal back, luckily i have a recipt to show this, yet your company has still rang me several times to say it hasn't been recieved even after i sent an e-mail attaching an image of my proof of postage recipt. This company is a disgrace.

Do not use this company!!!The salesman in north london came out and lied to me. Said i have 2 months free on a mobile chip and pin and i can cancel whenever i want. I didnt receive the terminal and tried to cancel but they refused to let me cancel. They say i am in a 12 month contract now with no cancellation even though the terminal has not arrived. This is an organised scam.
