My wife and I visited Northwich branch a few weeks ago to enquire about and open a savings account for her (I already have one). We had a little wait as there was a queue but I put this down to the popularity of this particular branch.
Anyway, we we're seen by Stuart Moores who was so friendly and knowledgeable. He put us at ease and listened to us and then explained about the products on offer including terms and conditions relevant to us. We couldn't fault his customer service, it was absolutely first class! Not fake cheesy but just down to earth chatty & friendly. Just wanted to call him out in the best way possible. Thanks again Stuart, you're an asset to Northwich Nationwide.

I was in the Northwich branch 10 days ago and asked for a statement on headed paper and stamped by the branch as was stated in the letter that I handed to the cashier and explained that these were the requirements of the pension company for verification to withdraw some funds .I should have checked before I sent them recorded delivery as I received word that the requirements had not been met.I have just been back to the branch this morning and told that It was not possible and could not be helped, all that was possible was a printed copy.I could print a copy off myself at home ! so I decided to call Nationwide and was told there was no reason why they should not be able to do this for me in branch.I went to the Winsford branch who were very helpful indeed and gave me a copy as required and stamped it with the branch stamp.Not difficult after all . The only reason I am keeping my account and mortgage with Nationwide for the time being is because of the fabulous and helpful staff at Winsford.
