Really impressed with the service and quality of food during my visit. Had a reputation after I visited years ago, glad to say that it has improved a lot since then. Really is worth the trip out.

Quiet place food was nice

Went in for a carvery on Sunday at 5, Walked in and was ignored completely. Sat myself down and waited again ignored, went up to the bar and was served, the food was dry including the veg it had been sat there a while, the same waiters/servers were just wondering around cluelessly and looked very unclean no uniforms just creased personal shirts and scraggy beard on one lad who kept looking around, they ignored everyone sat around us 2 people walked out after waiting and being ignored, the same barman asked us how?s everything not the waiter who?d been stood there 5 minutes. There was a customer shouting very loudly at the football on the tv and at no point did the staff ask him to settle down as there was family?s and couples trying to eat, as I got up to leave I made a point to say ? cheers everyone thank you? and was completely ignored again, it actually made me and my partner laugh at how poorly ran the place was , no management to be seen just young 20 somethings chatting away to each other.

Odered the curry and it was horrific.
The only to describe is curried water with bit of chicken thrown in, no thickness or consistency at all.
I told the guy it was just water and the popadoms were stale and he just said 'oh right' and walked away never to be seen again

Visited Wednesday lunchtime. Relatively quiet. Great service and lovely freshly cooked food.

Went in for a few drinks, staff were very friendly and helpful, could have a laugh with them food and drinks are reasonably priced and the beer was great and they had a great selection and something for the kids to do on site

Came here with my family and wow! Service from start to finish was amazing(so nice to see a happy smiley group of people wanting to look after you) the food was lovely and was served piping hot! I also tried something new and out of my comfort zone as I normally drink Guinness and when I ordered a Guinness I was told that they brew their own beers and their Trailblazer is much nicer! And I can honestly say it is !!! We will definitely be returning!

Regularly visit when I have time spare. Everyone is friendly, the manager is both attentive and diligent, food is always good, and there's a verity of music to suit everyone's tastes.
