We were on a walk down the Wirral way from Hooton station and this is a really nice handy place to stop for lunch as it is on a crossroads and there are numerous walks in different directions that can be done from here. Stopped off for a Sunday roast as pollards was busy but I am glad it was as this was one of the best roast dinners we have had. Staff very friendly and can't do enough we will definitely be back

A local village pub. We went in on a Friday night, and it was busy. We waited about 5 minutes to be served at the bar. On ordering drinks, my daughter (nearly 21) was not asked for ID, but later, a bartender came over and asked her for ID? I understand that it is challenge 25, but please ask for ID at the point of sale... read full comment
