Saturday night was dead. More staff than customers yet with the pathetic table service it took around 35 mins to get served one round of drinks. They have a rope around the bar to hinder customers from approaching. Really wanted this place to work, sadly it won't survive

Nice to see the Kinderton open again. Called in on a Saturday for lunch and had a nice meal. This is the best place in Middlewich to eat/drink so it's important that it is supported.

First time since it re-opened and wow! Food was amazing and the Gluten free fish and chips was the best!
Nice atmosphere, really attentive staff and an overall nice experience.
We will be coming back.

A friend an I visited the Kinderton on Sunday food was really good a the service was 5 star. Would recommend an I would definitely go there again.

Visited the Kinderton for the first time since it reopened on Saturday 9th August.
The food was delicious, great to see the gluten free fish and chips are still on the menu!
The staff were all lovely, very attentive and the restaurant was spotless and welcoming. We were looked after really well and really enjoyed our meal, we will be going back!

The service was slow, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks and in the end went to the bar to go and get them. When the food arrived it was not as described on the menu so had to be sent back, when we finally came to eat it was basic and not at the standard you?d expect for the price, the chicken was pink inside. When the server came over to ask how everything was we explained the problems and they asked us what we wanted them to do so we just asked for the check as we wanted to leave. Not a good experience at all. Considering there was a large amount of staff hanging around and very few customers for a Saturday you?d think the service would be better but no. I hope these problems are not consistent but from other reviews I?ve seen recently it would seem they are, I hope you?re working to fix them and not brush them under the carpet

I went to The Kinderton this evening with my husband and friends. The food piping hot and outstanding - fish, cajun chicken burger and chicken wrap were excellent and the portions were generous. The food arrived piping hot and the fries with the burgers and wrap had some cajun dust on them that was really tasty. Star of the show (food wise) for me was the sweetcorn fritters - they were like a really crunchy onion bhaji with sweetcorn. Fabulous!
The staff were really attentive and friendly and we met the owner. It's clear that the owner is mindful of the potential issues that having a new team in a new establishment may present, and he's there, watching, supporting and encouraging them. The whole environment was comfortable.
Give this place a go - be patient while the team are embedding if it's very busy. You won't regret it.

We renewed our wedding vows on Saturday and organised with the Kinderton to have a celebration there afterwards. As it had recenly opened there were a few teething problem but nothing that wasn't easily solved. Nagendra, Helen and the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely delicious, well presented, good portion sizes and very good value for money. I love the new direction the food is going. All in all the Kinderton has re opened and is better than ever. Thank you for helping make our day special and we look forward to many more visits.

Service is great especially as they have just opened. Lovely to see the place open again and with great staff. Sunday roast was divine and apple crumble is excellent. Back soon.

First time being back at the Kinderton since it reopened, was very impressed with the customer service and fast service. It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a free glass of bubbly which just topped the night off. Food was delicious, Special thank you to our server Adam. It was a great night :)

Went during Folk and Boat weekend. Extremely busy which was only to be expected. Great atmosphere and good entertainment. Prices have increased from previous owners but overall a good couple of hours. ?

Reportedly one of the best beer/tap line ups ever seen. Bar ordering mechanism is foolish and needs to be redone - why must not pay over a rope when you could give your order to a bar person? There?s receipts involved? Very strange. Gorgeous land it?s on and good setup. Small but clean bathrooms.
