An amazing barn conversion found down beautiful country lanes surrounded by rolling hills. A lot of local people bike to the barn as there is ample bike storage. Lost barn serves something for everyone, lots of health tonics, smoothies, fire cider and delicious matcha. Vegan and gluten free options. The best coffee that is sold by a lot of my favourite coffee shops. They also have a farm shop with food and wellbeing products. Prices are fairly high for the portion size you get with food but the food is superbly presented and tasty.

I had been in a car accident yesterday and my fiancée decided he wanted to cheer me up by treating me to a meal at his favourite coffee place. I?d been wanting to go for a while. I was also more excited to find out that it was dog friendly.
We arrived, I thought it was beautiful. We discussed enquiring about exclusive hire for our wedding next year also.
We ordered coffee to start. Which is where the issue started. We wanted a 1 shot latte, and a normal latte with an extra shot. Our coffee was served and both were single shot. No issue, my partner went back and we were given an extra espresso for his coffee which the member of staff who looked miserable as sin reluctantly sorted for us.
We then decide to order bacon and Brie sandwich and skin on fries. A number of people came over to pet our dogs, and said how beautiful they were. My beagle X was a bit nervous about a new place, and she did bark but only when another dog entered through the door. It was very busy and very noisy in there.
I?m halfway into my meal when a member of staff comes over and says ?your dog is being quite noisy can you go outside please? erm? What? I thought this was a dog friendly establishment?
No eye contact, no pleasantries, not even an ?excuse me?
The whole experience was a total mess. I was already overwhelmed by how much was going on. I have high functioning autism and sensory processing disorder.
My dog was fixated on me the whole time. And as I say, she barked when someone entered with another dog.
If you?re advertising your establishment as dog friendly. Then you have to expect that some dogs will bark.
Perhaps rethink your policy. I won?t be visiting again. Which is a shame because your coffee is the best around.

When on a busy day, but even so, we ordered two coffees. 20 minutes later, nothing. Told a further 10 minutes, so we waited. After a total of 40 minutes, we asked for a refund. The assistant declared that they were very busy but did issue the refund.

Lovely place, great outdoor area, food was lovely. I had one of the specials - whipped feta on sourdough - and it was lovely.Despite having a sandpit/play kitchen outside for children, as well as high chairs and baby changing unit, they don?t have kids options on the menu. When I asked, they said they might be able to make a smaller portion but it would be the usual price. They made a smaller portion of scrambled eggs on toast, which was the right size and simple for a child, but initially they weren?t very accommodating of the request.Kid-friendliness: Good facilities for children apart from food options - there is no children?s menu and they said they can make a slightly smaller portion but it would cost the same amount

Had the most dreadful drink here. Fire cider! It was like drinking pure vinegar ?. Bought milk in the shop with one day to go on the date. I should have checked but you would expect to get fresher milk

Have loved this place in the past, but visited yesterday for brunch and was so disappointed in how expensive it has become. £9.0 for a small portion of beans on toast. The food was tasty but very small portion. It has definitely become "the place to go" but I feel it has suffered because of this. Very "yuppeefied" and extremely noisy inside now when busy. Still a lovely spot, but for me they have become overpriced so I won't be going again. There are lots of other lovely establishments in thr area providing good food, a nice atmosphere and much better value for money.Parking: Parking on site, level hardcored ground. Can be difficult to find a space when busy. Disabled parking spot available. Electric charge point but was being used by owners vehicle. I don't know if it is available for customers use.

First visit for me. Plenty of seats. Quite busy. Drinks came quickly. Food took longer but very nice. Unfussy, tasty and nicely presented.

Great baby changing facilities. Huge fold down table, well placed hooks, well lit and clean. You couldn?t ask for more. I also saw high chairs and there?s plenty of space by various tables for a pushchair. Plus, the coffee is divine and the food delicious. Really well done on all fronts.Dietary restrictions: Dairy intolerant friendly - plenty of dairy free options.

This is a really lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat. I just went to read my book and relax, the location is ideal such a lovely cafe, nice and clean and great service.I've only given it 3*'s because it's pricey for a coffee shop, I bought a black coffee and a cake and spent £7.50. I wouldn't go there daily, it would be a treat for me.

Lovely shop quite hidden in the countryside however worth a trip. Reasonably priced drinks however pastries more on the pricy side. Flat white was aromatic and well balanced, croissant was buttery and flakey and warmed up.Building itself is light airy and clean with simple but effective decor. However I do agree with another comment regarding the acoustics as there were quite a few noisy children when I visited which the sound really travels through the building.

I'm generally in here at least once a fortnight, riding over on my bike and storing it on the provided rack behind the cafe. The coffee is superb, the food great and it's always timely and clean. Love the place!
