We had a short but very sweet stay at The Carden Arms and will definitely be back for hopefully a longer visit next time. We stayed in the family room which our 3 & 6yo loved. Bunk beds were perfect and we all loved the big four poster bed too as well as the lovely bathroom. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even at breakfast tailoring it for our kids. The pub had a lovely busy atmosphere in the evening and next time we?ll be coming for dinner too. Highly recommend!!

Arrived for a 2 night stay. Welcomed by the owner Peaceful location with lovely outdoor area.Wonderful friendly, professional staff. The food was amazing, home made and local organic meat from the owner's farm a mile away. Would definitely re visit. Excellent value for money . Diolch yn fawr. Thank you

First time coming here and wow I can?t wait to return, this pub is so special with knowing exactly where your food comes from all Local and meat grass fed from JUST 1 mile away. The little add ons like the complimentary fresh bread and the amazing flavours of butters. Just the little things that make the experience so so good. This is a hidden gem that needs to be spoken about !!! I would 100% recommend you coming here. The service was out of this world and the little requests we had got done straight away. Well done Carden Arms.

If happiness could be served on a plate, this would be it. From the moment the food arrived, the aroma alone had me smiling like I?d just won the lottery. The presentation was beautiful without being fussy ? you could tell it was made with care, not just for Instagram.
The first bite was a full-on flavour party: fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced seasoning, and that just-right texture you only get when someone really knows what they?re doing in the kitchen. Every mouthful made me want to pause just so I could savour it longer.
The portion size? Generous without going overboard ? I left feeling satisfied, not stuffed. The staff were warm and attentive, topping off the whole experience with the kind of friendly service that makes you want to come back before you?ve even left.
? Verdict: 10/10. Would eat again (and again? and again).

We stayed at The Carden Arms whilst visiting the Eisteddfod in Wrexham.
The Pub is great, beers choice excellent, and food delightful, with all the food from local sources and the meat from the family farm.
Sam and David were brilliant hosts - we arrived back just as the bar was closing and were welcomed with a quick drink before retiring to our welcoming bedrooms.
I would thoroughly recommend this lovely Pub.

We had a wonderful stay at the Carden Arms from August 7th to 9th while visiting the National Eisteddfod in Wrexham. The rooms were beautifully kept, the food was delicious, and the breakfast set us up perfectly for the day.
A huge thank you to Sam and Dave for their warm hospitality ? they truly made us feel at home. The whole experience was relaxed, welcoming, and full of charm.
We?ll definitely be back soon!

Fabulous traditional country pub in a lovely location. Friendly, helpful staff. Top quality food and great beer.
I have stayed here on more than one occasion. The rooms are lovely, and the breakfast was fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner/staff.
