After living in the same house in Macclesfield for 30+ years, I chose to use W&B because Nick came to give a valuation a couple of years before I finally chose to sell, and I was impressed with his friendly approach, advice, and no hard sell tactics. Having finally decided it was time to sell he was again a pleasure to deal with and gave helpful advice, and then I was fortunate to be able to agree a sale within a week, which is testament to their marketing and valuation. As seems to be the case the legal side of matters (oh the joy of searches and legal matters) dragged on which is of course beyond mere mortals control, and everyone I spoke to were helpful, and great at keeping in touch to help, reassure, and maintain perspective on what for most people is a process that you only undergo a few times in your life. I'd be happy to sell or buy through the Macclesfield office should I ever have occasion to again.

I had a fantastic experience with Whittaker and Biggs when selling our house. Nick was fantastic when he did the valuation - very competitive but fair. I had lots of valuations but Nick was the most personable but professional estate agent I dealt with.Throughout the negotiating and sale process I dealt with Alison, Vicky and Janet who were all absolutely amazing. Selling your house is stressful but I felt so supported and cared for - it made the whole process a lot easier to deal with. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they always kept me up to date and in the loop with where my sale was up to.Thank you so much again - I would only use Whittaker and Biggs in the future and have already recommended you several times to friends and family.

Nick, Alison, Vicki and the team at Whittaker & Biggs were fantastic. I sold and purchased with them and throughout the process they were friendly, supportive and professional. Giving sincere and honest advise to get me sold and moved in less than 3months! Can not recommend highly enough.

I decided to use Whittaker & Biggs for the sale of my house because they gave the same valuation as two other estate agents but were more competitive with the percentage they charged.Nick came to take the pictures and he didn't skimp with them, all looked really good as though a professional photographer had taken them.The staff are very polite and professional and always wanting to help whenever I called them, they were extremely patient with the sale as my ex did not make things easy, they actually sold the house twice as my ex would not sign contracts for the first sale and the house had to be remarketed almost 12 months later.I can not thank them enough for the patience and professionalism they had in selling the house, I would definitely recommend Whittaker & Biggs if you are thinking of selling a property.
