Just stayed at this hotel and it was lovely. It?s a budget hotel but despite that the room was clean and fresh. The staff that were on were polite and friendly. Their knowledge of the local area was spot on. We stayed as we had a family function locally and would definitely stay there again!

This is the best travelodge I have stayed in. I have had the opportunity to stay in many over the years and this little travelodge exceeded all expectations. Yes it's an old road side style travelodge ut the staff are friendly and maintain the property very well. The reception smells nice with fresh flowers and the corridor and rooms are exceptionally clean. Well done to the staff going above and beyond.

We stayed here 2 nights over the weekend. The location was great for us as we had travelled for a family party and needed no facilities other than to sleep. The staff are very friendly. We wouldn't hesitate staying again if it were only to sleep but not for anything else.
Our room although clean was on the ground floor so we were unable to sleep with the window open and had 1 very noisy fan. The rooms are in need of a huge renovation as it is a very old style accommodation. There are no facilities onsite apart from your kettle and a vendy machine. The Starbucks next door closes at 19:00.

Nice small Travelodge hotel with free parking and a friendly check-in.
Good sized room which luckily wasn't too hot considering the weather outside. Happy to say there was also a fan already in the room for us to use!
Room was clean so no complaints.
Really smart new looking Starbucks in the same car park. Not much else in walking distance though.
Only minor issues were:
No extra lock on the bedroom door (which du you normally get in hotels. Would be nice to know that no one could enter our room while we were sleeping)
No sockets by the bed. Not nice for my neighbours when my alarm went off at 3am so I could get ready to go to the airport!
No detachable shower head

It does exactly what you want from a Travelodge - a clean room with a comfy bed. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a Starbucks next door. Quiet location.

Pros:
- Nice and Quiet location
- Friendly staff
- Secure doors, going in/out
- Starbucks right outside the Travelodge
- Lots of my shared parking with Starbucks
Cons:
- No elevator to 2nd level.
- Toilet paper tissue holder placement on the wall hits your shoulder and makes it very inconvenient to sit on the toilet.
- Shower head water pressure is low and shower head doesn't move up so you have to stand very close to the drain bathtub drain, very unsatisfying.
- Free Internet for only 30 mins

We had a one night stay here last night, as we were attending a birthday celebration in nearby Poynton. We found the room to be very clean and spacious, and the staff on reception to be very friendly. It was great value for money.
The location was ideal - the hotel was in a nice, quiet spot, and about 5 minutes drive from Poynton centre. The neighbouring Starbucks was also handy for breakfast this morning.
We will definitely stay here again when we have other family gatherings/ nights out in Poynton, and will recommend this hotel to others.

Very clean and tidy. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Excellent location. Lits of local facilities just down the road. Set back from road and in trees.

A few problems. The staff were lovely but we had asked for twin beds. Not accommodated. We arrived and were told we were upstairs. No lift. Room was clean enough but the hand wash dispenser was empty. Yes it's budget with a capital B. Never again.

What a wonderful, older travelodge. All the staff were fantastic but credit where it is due Andy on reception when we arrived was amazing. I dont think the place would be the same without him greeting you as you arrive

Atypical for a travel lodge however they need to sort out the water system
Every time someone used the water the system made a very loud noise that sounded like a hammer drill being used
Very comfortable bed but alas zero sleep

This hotel is ok for a quick stop over.
The staff member at reception was lovely and extremely helpful.
The first room we were given, the sheets had what looked like dog hair through them, the receptionist was very quick to organise us another room. However, there was a peculiar smell to this room and quite dirty. The sheets smelled like they'd been laundered in grease.
We were making a flying stop over so gave it all a quick spray with perfume! Unfortunately, the mattress has alot of rigid springs so not very comfortable.
The hotel itself is in a good location, there is a town less than 5minute drive away that has plenty pubs, csfes and restaurants.
