The accommodation was excellent in every way. Clean, accessible, as my husband is disabled and comfortable. Good, convenient parking. The bed looked small but in fact was perfectly adequate.
The HUGE problem was the unbearable noise from the station. Not trains but there was loud work in progress all night, beginning around midnight. Every time it stopped, I felt a wave of relief, but it would start again within minutes. The whole night. I managed to doze for less than 20 minutes. Needless to say, I was VERY irritable by 07.00; time to get up and travel 2 hours by car. Fortunately, I wasn't driving, but we had to make several extra stops as well, to allow my husband to rest. We certainly wouldn't have booked here, if we'd suspected such a dreadful night.

Very clean . An in the middle of everything. The only problem is there is no parking. So use the go park app for cheaper parking ?

We visited on two of the hottest days of the year. They have no air con just a portable fan ? no fridge. Windows did open. Not a lot of sleep

Set in the perfect spot for the train station, the town centre is a short walk, and there are many ways to get there. All local amenities are available from Tesco to aldi. I found 90% of the staff absolutely wonderful. They helped me deal with my disabilities and were very understanding and super helpful ? Thank you, guys. Overall, it's a superb hotel.

Been here many times. Service is minimal but adequate. Location is excellent, 3 mins walk from the main square of the town. Rooms too hot during last weekend's heatwave so sleep was difficult.

A fabulous weekend but not the best located hotel for a person like myself with mobility issues.
A lift is available and we had a ground floor room, but it was very hard to get into town for a night out.
The indoor/outdoor market were great and all the shops around were right up my street. A lovely place to visit.

It is what it is. You get a clean room and washroom with shower, sink and toilet. Front rooms will have mobile reception but are subject to noise from the passing trains (you get used to it pretty quick so it's not too bad). The rooms at the rear are quiet and now appear to have 5G signal!

Just found a dildo on our bed. Bed had clearly not been cleaned. The guy on reception was apologetic but had to be asked to come and remove it and I don't see how the bed can have been cleaned, if this was between the mattress and headboard.

They put me in a room with a clogged shower drain; I had to shower with water over my feet (how disgusting). Don't the staff see this when they clean? I also paid for the internet, but that didn't work. The hotel used to be better, but it's not good enough anymore.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room of a more than adequate size and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable double bed. Shower room is small but adequate with lovely quality towels and hand foam and shower /hair gel in shower. Hairdryers available on demand. Also appreciated the Lavazzo coffee machine.
Very conveniently situated for town and only a couple of minutes from the station. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
