We came in here for lunch in the middle of our walk. They were incredibly busy but said that we could sit at the table and they would take our order in about 25 minutes, which they did. Staff were all incredibly pleasant and checked in to make sure everything was okay. Food came quickly and was delicious, we had the steak sandwich and the fish finger sandwich. Both were huge portions and incredibly tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic food in a casual welcoming atmosphere with world class customer service. Real fires in winter and a stunning garden in summer. Menu has pub favourites done incredibly well as well as some stunning michelin worthy choices. Hard to beat nationally.

Chose the wrong option, the roast potatoes seemed to be reheated, hard to cut through the outer, my fingers came off the knife into the gravy several times. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was excellent.
