Love it! What a great place with knowledgeable, friendly staff and a great selection. The wine tasting events are fabulous and the experience of staff is evident in how they talk about the wines. Go here for great advice, very good wine, and tasty snacks. Majestic own brand prosecco is ?

Emailed ten days in advance to arrange an in-store wine tasting, to choose and buy in bulk for our wedding.
Arrived on the day, and despite previous email confirmation, nothing had been prepared and no solution could apparently be offered.
We were told we needed to ?email in advance for that sort of thing?. Bizarre, to say the least.
The staff member dealing with us was pleasant and apologetic, but clearly there needs to be improved internal communication, if the business wants to meet customer expectations.

I called in to the shop today for the monthly treat for my husband, the usual lady was not around sadly, she ALWAYS helps to choose the 6 bottles of wine I buy, it's usually a lovely experience seeing if she can find me the perfect wines at a reasonable price, I look forward to visiting....not today!!! Two members of staff were there, I stood by the desk but was TOTALLY ignored!! After a few minutes of this i decided to leave empty handed!

We are from Canada and visited Macclesfield Majestic three weeks ago and could not have received better or more informed customer service. We tasted several wines and came away with great purchases. The staff really know their stuff and the service is excellent. We had a debit card issue and accidently got charged twice - it was not the fault of Majestic but they sorted it out the minute we raised the issue. The staff here are EXCELLENT and made our visit to Macclesfield

Excellent customer service from all the staff we dealt with. We needed glass hire as well as drinks and they were extremely helpful. Highly recommend for anyone holding a party or other event at home.

Good range of wines at a good price with excellent service. They do wine tasting and can advise on what you might like. They even colour code the shelves to help you. Beer range is not what it was in terms of price or choice. They have a wide range of gin too. Plenty of parking and they helped us carry to the car.
