I had the misfortune to go to Mailbox, Macclesfield to enquire about posting some documents overseas via DHL at 0900 1st Sept '23I met Mr Goodchild, centre owner, an extremely rude, unpleasant man.He told me he couldn't process my request as it's too early!!! Shop opening hours display 0900 - 1700.He also quoted a price of£77.38, but continually said he couldn't attend to my request & to return later!!I took my documents to Ryman, Macclesfield who promptly processed my request & the cost was only £38.95.How can there be such a huge difference in price for the same package!!!Besides at Ryman, the service was extremely courteous, helpful and with a smile.Mr Goodchild doesn't deserve the support of the local community. Do not use the services of Mailbox, Macclesfield

The manager Mr.Godchild is very rude. I?m not sure because I wasn?t white British or the fact that I am disabled. Or maybe he is simply just a tw*t.Royal Mail PO Box is much cheaper and has car park and not abusive towards customers. This place has nowhere to park, happily show other customers details to stranger like me, very expensive and I observed treating staff badly. I don?t understand why anybody support this business.I wish I knew about Royal Mail PO Box service before I stepped into this place.

Truly exceptional personal service. There was a problem with the auction lot MB collected for me and they really went the extra mile to help. Once everything was in order they immediately dispatched the goods which then arrived very safely packaged the next day. I have used a few similar companies in the past but this one really stands out for the level of service as well as the excellent value. Can whole-heartedly recommend.

?TOTALLY INCOMPETENT AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED?I have never come across a more incompetent Mail Box Etc as the Macclesfield branchWhere do I start?I won some expensive whisky bottles at auction. I was asked clearly to put my instruction on an email, which I duly did, in addition to my verbal instruction to John the owner, Lorena and Charlotte. ?keeping all bottles packed up right and standing for shipping - especially the cognac? And box shipped up right and standing' - 27 June 2022 07:02am(email)On the day they were collected from Adam Partridge I spoke to Lorena (Mailbox) once again about packing the bottles up right and standing. When I was advised by email that my parcel was packed, once more I called and spoke to Lorena and asked her have my bottles been packed up right and standing, she replied yes!I thought great - happy days.I received my parcel with box in the correct orientation with the label on top and arrows pointing up showing the correct orientation. Only to find, all the bottles were packed up side down but one was standing up right, in the box with the correct orientation once the parcel was delivered. This means 5 of the 6 bottles were packed upside down, up to delivery and the outer box was in the correct orientation when delivered.The bottles were packed - totally opposite to my many many many CLEAR and SIMPLE instructions and requests.Clearly, there has been a total disregard to my instructions after repeated requests and even after packing, when I CLEARLY and SIMPLY requested the bottles packed up right and standing for shipping.A small child could follow these clear and simple instructions!!!This means everything I was told by Lorena before and up to the delivery, about "...pack bottles up right and standing for shipping?"was clearly a lie.In addition to the way my bottles were packed which is a type of damage where the integrity of the content may and/or will be impaired forever. They supplied me with the wrong tracking details once by John the owner and twice by Lorena all email.I hold the owner John wholly responsible for being totally negligent for not dealing with the matter accordingly after requesting instructions by email or supervising the job and clearly employing people who lie and do not know what they are doing.Only persons that lack fundamental intelligence would pack bottles up side down!!!! After repeated instructions and requests to pack up right and standing.I have advised Adam Partridge auction to look into doing all packing and shipping in-house. As this does not reflect well on for them.Mail Box Etc-Macclesfield has broken its contract with me on how I requested my goods shipped. And in doing so damaged my property.My advise is use someone else as they can?t follow simple instructions or arrange to collect your own lots yourself

Great service!!! Had 31 porcelain plates collected from an auction house, packed and shipped to Germany. No problems at all. Received my shipment much faster than expected. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent service. Bought a couple of lots from Adam Partridge Auction House and the pots were very well packed and quickly posted by Mail Boxes. Arrived in excellent condition. Very responsive to emails. Highly recommended.

Rude..promised a 5 working day turnaround and then told me that they hadn't and it would be longer after i chased and were very rude in their attitude. I use Mailbox in other parts of the country and have only ever had good service..also got a quote £50 less for same service so cancelled
