John Douglas menswear in Macclesfield was for several decades the go-to choice of my father and subsequently for me.
Albeit these days, in my 70s, I have little call for smart formal and casual outfits. But I recently needed a smart suit as a matter of urgency and found one at John Douglas with David's assistance. For a perfect fit, David expertly assessed the necessary adjustments required to waistband and trouser length and had the suit ready for collection first thing the following morning.
A level of service I could not have obtained elsewhere. A business gem.

As an awkward gym sized man i decided after multiple recommendations to book in. when I arrived and saw Dave, I was honestly blown away. He looked at me and knew straight away my size, everything I tried fit until I found the perfect fit for me. Give them a go, you will not be disappointed. He also nails the style also, so once he has a grasp for what its for the choices flood in.

I recently visited John Douglas in Macclesfield ahead of a garden party with a high-end vibe, and I couldn?t be happier with the experience. David Johnson looked after me personally and delivered exactly what I needed ? an outfit that was stylish, appropriate, and effortlessly put together.
From the Remus Uomo blazer and Bugatti trousers to the R2 shirt with Liberty fabric detailing. Every piece was spot on. What really stood out was David?s ability to balance classic tailoring with a sharp eye for current fashion ? proving that great style isn?t limited by age.
He took the time to understand what I needed, made me feel completely at ease, and pulled together an outfit that not only looked great but felt like me ? elevated.

Absolute gold mine of quality menswear. Went in today and David helped me pick out a stunning Burbary coat. Honestly could have walked out with 3 or 4 beautiful pieces. I think this will be my new go to place for suits, coats and everything in between.
