“As I don’t live in Macclesfield I found car & home stereo ltd on a google search while desperately trying to fit an aftermarket stereo to my sprinter. No one local to me in stoke was even willing to give advice or help as I’d already purchased the stereo myself and I presume there wasn’t much profit in the job (fair enough) Following a quick google search I found car & home stereo and the help was unbelievable, when I arrived at the shop the gent stopped the job he was on that was pre booked checked over all my connections with him multiple times meter got me set up and then left me to reassemble the van, he popped back numerous times to check I was happy and everything was ok. The time given and help was so unexpected and I was so grateful, I can’t recommend this place enough for an honest business that genuinely just wants to help, I noticed while in the shop he also sells inverters and other bits so I’ll most definitely be returning for any future needs and can’t recommend if your after help to come and make a visit, really refreshing to find someone so helpful that clearly sees more than a few quid!!! So happy thanks for your help”

“Theres not a lot of competition in the area for the products they sell. I find the staff very helpful. It also helps if you have some idea (online research) of what you want, you are then more able to join in the conversation with some quite knowledgeable staff members. I was in and out within 15mins with the product (tv) I wanted.”

“My car camera fell off the windscreen once too often and the connection wire was damaged. It's an older camera, but l like the design. A friend checked on their mobile where l could get a replacement wire and plug.Halfords came up.Went to Halfords, Macclesfield and they Staff were really very helpful as l don't have a clue about any technical problems!I tried the plug in the car socket but although it worked the screen on the camera kept coming up with "no SD Card" so l popped back into Halfords. The young man was good and sorted out a new SD Card and my car windscreen camera is working very well again. I also got a computer SD Card holder for if l ever need to download any footage to anyone in case of an accident!Really pleased that Halfords Staff were able to sort out my car camera for me.Will definitely recommend Halfords and the knowledge and help l received from their Staff.”
