I've not been for over a year because of lockdown
I've noticed the plants have shot up in price
I suppose it's not surprising as most things elsewhere have gone up as well
They haven't changed where the products are so I'm grateful for that.
Carpark ok but be aware this is being used as free carparking with non users as near to town centre
Which is annoying.
I wish they had some smaller trolleys as being a women of a certain age am finding difficulty pushing and stopping as the store is on a hill and carpark is running down hill

Phoned B & Q Macclesfield this afternoon Friday 25th July, about an item on offer. Spoke to Jordan. Helped me out and was very patient. Advised click and collect to secure item. Went to pick it up later that afternoon and as it happened Jordan was there. Got the large item for me and took it it my car. What a smooth process. Nice to see that there are still some polite friendly staff at B& Q it reflects well them and the company

Purchased various products on Saturday evening.
Got home and found that we had inadvertently been charged twice for one particular (expensive) item
Phoned the day afterwards and we were told that we would be refunded when we called in (a 35 minute journey)
On arrival the next day we were told that the manager needed to check to see if we had inadvertently been charged twice. I have no problem with this being checked as no doubt B and Q have to deal with people falsely claiming refunds not due to them from time to time
Kept waiting a long time while the manager checked behind the scenes to initially be told that nothing could be found (presumably on the store CCTV system)
Confirmed the date and time again and it was apparent that the manager had been checking the wrong date
I am disabled and had been standing so long that I had to ask for a seat at this point
After sitting for quite some time my wife went to find the staff member, who was liaising with the manager, to see where things were up to as by then I was becoming extremely tired
My wife was then told that it was OK and we could have the refund
Our issues are that:
1) We were not told that all was OK and that we could have the refund due until we proactively went to find the liaising staff member
2) The manager who dealt with this did not come out and talk to us herself
3) At no point were we given an apology for this mistake made by B and Q which had put us to a great deal of inconvenience and which the manager should have seen as being an essential customer services response
The staff member on the till advised that this was not an unusual error as the equipment could inadvertently pick up scans twice.
So despite first class service when we made our initial purchase, basic good customer services practice was missing at managerial level and I hope that the branch learns and improves from this.

Georgia that I met at this store is by far the rudest and most miserable Customer Service Assistant I have had the misfortune to meet.

The staff are friendly and very helpful if you want to ask a question over the certain product they give you advice. The shelves are all was full

Very disappointing that although the store had wooden curtain poles in various colours in stock and curtain hooks there were no wooden curtain rings at all. What is the point of selling hooks without selling the thing that connects them to the pole?
But for the staff member to say they didn't stock them as it was only a small store was a pretty pathetic excuse, especially as the hooks which displayed them were there all price labelled.. You wouldn't sell brushes without paint. Get your stock in order.
