Thoroughly enjoyable lunch, not the cheapest however making a choice was difficult as every starter and main option on the menu sounded good which is very rarely the case and there were numerous dishes.
Visited again for evening meal, excellent menu. There is a reason it has survived when many restaurants have struggled, it is because it is very good.

I have wanted to try this restaurant for many years but never got round to going. We visited yesterday for lunch with friends and "wow" I was not disappointed. The interior is welcoming and cosy, with that special feel about it.
The menu was extensive and the food was very well presented. Decent size dishes and the food was delicious, with excellent service. Highly recommended

Usually the food is superb, and admittedly most of it was. We return to La Boheme year after year, and often wonder why it isn't in the Michelin guide. On this occasion though, the venison was very overcooked but still a good cut of meat.

There is simply no better Restaurant within 20 miles.
Olivier and his team have been delivering a consistently high quality of food with a strong French influence and excellent service for the last 25 years.
The fact that bookings need to be made well in advance to secure a table is testament to the superb standard constantly delivered by the excellent team at La Boheme.

We took my Mum to lunch today for her 89th birthday. The food was amazing, the staff helpful and very friendly and it pleasantly busy to guve it atmosphere. The lady (possibly the owner) who spoke to Mum at the end of our meal made it really special for a special lady. We will definitely return hopefully with my brother next year and his family who live in News Zealand. Thank you La Boheme

Disappointed.
On a previous visit everything was five star.
Yesterday?s visit was the polar opposite.
Ordered drinks two times and both times only one came and we had to chase up the other.
We had been waiting a long time for our main course so we asked the waitress. She said she would check and on her return she said ours was next. It was not great seeing other people getting their Chateaubriand before us when they had ordered later that us. When the waitress brought the main course I asked what was the problem and she said our order had not been picked up.
All in all a disappointing evening in what was supposed to be a special occasion.
I hope if we visit again our bad experience was just a one off as the first visit was great.
