Nice place to come for a walk, right in the middle of the town centre. A fair few swans, geese and ducks around that all seemed quite friendly (though if you are going to feed them, PLEASE research what is good for them and don't feed them bread!)

Nice park with ducks and big, clean play area. Seperate toddler area. Lots of picnic benches. Some are nicely shaded by trees. Parking free for 2 hours on the road. Big car park payable across the road but ££. Small coffee outlet on the edge of the car park and some toilets there also, 30p (one cubicle takes card, 2 others need coins fyi). No toilets in the park, but only a brisk minute walk or run with a child. Visited on a Monday and was bustling by lunch time. Expect it's packed on a sunny weekend?

Helped with a litter pick on The Moor which generally is very well kept. Lots of rubbish collected from the surrounding paths and from amongst the reeds
