Hotel lost our booking twice but agreed to honor the price I was quoted originally. Lots of their staff are sharing duties right now due to staff sickness and their restaurant is understaffed due to this.
Noteworthy details: It's not directly in the village of Holmes Chapel but a minute or so drive outside. I recommend travelling here by taxi or car to park in the car park.

The staff here are really friendly and great problem solvers for anything you need. The rooms are clean and cozy. Only minor suggestion for a future improvement would be to switch out the lamp plugs by the bed to include a USB so that guests can charge their phones by the bed. Honestly an excellent hotel and would stay again.

Last minute decision to head out for dinner and landed at The Vicarage, Cheshire.
Brilliant surprise at the Happy Hour between 5-7pm on selected drinks, buy one get one free including Cruzcampo, inches cider and cocktails! (Other drinks also)
The food was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious and clean plates all around!
The service was second to none!

Service and staff were great, breakfast was really nice and good value. Only downside the bed was really soft and uncomfortable. Rooms were clean and good value.

Had a great one night stay. Our room was amazing, really modern with a huge bed which was so comfy. Nice welcome snacks was a plus and everything was really clean. We had Sunday roast which was excellent followed by drinks in the bar. Andrew & his team, especially the new assistant manager (who I have completely for his name, sorry it?s my age ?) were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and whole place was so nice and we had a great stay. The full English breakfast In the morning was great too, everything perfectly cooked? would definitely recommend a visit.

After staying in the superior room, I was expecting a bit more ... as whoever was the interior decorator had great vision.
The rooms were clearly done to a high standard at one stage, and I love the design, but the touch-ups/maintenance that have been done has been done badly, and it is quite noticeable to me.
However, saying that I would not let this put me off staying again as the hotel was really great value, and honestly it had one of the most comfortable beds I have used, depsite many telling me they found them too soft.
Despite the really sticky tables, the breakfast was really nice with a great selection, being surprised to see American style pancakes with bacon.

Fantastic hotel, food and service during my overnight stay. The decor is amazing both in the bar/restaurant & bedrooms. Can?t fault the food or service by Nicola and her team. All very friendly and pleasant. Dinner was very tasty and excellent breakfast also. It?s a gem of a place and will defo be back. Thank you

Room double booked and was put in a lower standard cheaper twin room than what I had booked and paid for.
The manager (Gemma) seemed to think I should be grateful for the bed, and they can supply what they like in terms of service.
My booking agency eventually gave a partial refund although I?m not sure if they funded it, or the pub.
Would I go back? Nope.

Nice place
Staff great and welcoming, and they were happy to serve our wedding celebration.
Food was excellent, hot and tasty (compliments to the chef).
