I spent my 30th birthday here on friday and it was absolutely beautiful!
The food was excellent, very reasonable prices and the service from the staff i couldn't fault, I feel terrible for forgetting the lady's name who served us ? (sorry)! but she was ever so polite, her customer service skills were outstanding, we will definitely be returning soon and hoping to try the sunday lunch ?
Really glad i chose this place, Thankyou & see you again soon ??

Last evening we had a very happy half hour at the George & Dragon, having never been to Holmes Chapel before but simply looking to break our southwards journey on the M6 in search of some food without wasting too much time. It was 'Fish and Chips Friday' which turned out to be the best we have eaten for some considerable time and sensibly priced too. The presentation and speed of service was great, the staff very attentive and the ambience more than acceptable for a pub restaurant. Perhaps because it was early evening we were in the building for no more than 40 mins in total, so just right for us. Well done everyone! Geoff & Ann

Excellent place. We went there for my daughters 30th birthday party. Very welcoming and understanding our waitress was brilliant with my 2 year old grandson and she couldn't do enough for the rest of our party. A big thank you to everyone. The food was gorgeous.

First time here,
Welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly bar staff
Went to sit outside to have our lunch but had to go inside due to the heat and wasps., we were shown to a table by service staff, ordered a meal which was brilliant, the young lady who served us was fantastic , only too happy to help us.
This will definitely not be our last visit, in fact can't wait to return.

Nice modern pub. Not a huge menu but a good spread of options, so there?s probably something to suit all tastes. Food delivery was a bit slow but when it arrived it was cooked well and hot.

We have been to this pub often,food always amazing,but this time the wait was so long,nearly a hour,most of the orders were for fish and a burger,far too many fries,enjoyed what we ate,and thank you all for your hospitality

Little gem of a place, ample parking, very clean and tidy (indoors & out), friendly/attentive staff. Slightly disappointed to see standard/normal bread for the BLT. Maybe an artisan bread would improve the taste and look? Other than that very happy ?

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They were really considerate about dietary requests and the food was tasty. They even gave the two dads in our group a Father's Day treat.

Gorgeous pub with great interior and garden. Super friendly team. Pizzas were fantastic - would recommend to anyone making a trip up/down the M6 as a great pitstop. Lovely walk along the river made it a mini trip for us. Thank you
