Arrived here for a pre booked booking. The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night and they had a shortage of tables. We were left waiting for 10 minutes at the door. Then we were taken to the bar and offered a drink. Unfortunately they gave my wife soda water instead of tonic in her Gin & Tonic, so it tasted very off.
After a further 10 minutes we were taken to our seats. The menu is very diverse and with lots of options. The food came quickly and was full of flavour and taste. You could tell it was cooked fresh and with passion. We both had a starter each which was very tasty and had two pasta dishes which were a decent portion size.
Overall we both agreed it was a nice restaurant and the food was delicious. However, it was borderline stressful being there. The staff were rushing round (not their fault) serving everyone and trying to usher guests out to seat us, then trying to keep on top of the service.
I?d recommend it for the food, but maybe at less busy time.

A great dining experience! The food here is delicious, with a menu full of classic Italian dishes that are clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant in Holmes Chapel, this is definitely a spot to check out.

Randomly popped into this Italian restaurant in Holmes Chapel for a quick dinner and had the most fantastic meal. The pasta dishes we had (penne picante and penne polcinellia) were absolutely delicious. We were really impressed with the taste and quality, first class. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere. If we lived in the area this restaurant would be visited regularly.

We decided to go on a date night and to go somewhere new to us both. I selected Don Alberto?s. Must have driven past it so many times and not noticed it. Such a waste as we would have been often. Excellent. Great atmosphere and we were made to feel valued. Great service from the attentive staff. A really good meal beautifully cooked and a delicious bottle of Montepulciano.
We will certainly be going again and would thoroughly recommend going.

my partner and myself come here regularly for date nights & are never disappointed. The food is ALWAYS perfect & the staff don?t miss a beat. the food is always pipping hot and fresh - we couldn?t recommend it higher. Special shout out to the lovely guy who wears a waistcoat; never seen him without a smile, you make the experience 10/10

Had a wonderful meal for two tonight at Don Alberto in Holmes Chapel. We?ve passed many times driving home & finally dropped in. What a fantastic surprise - Lovely interior & ambiance. Well set out with good spacing between tables. Kieron announced he was looking after us. We had a seafood linguini & chicken carbonara mains.
We arrived quite late - only an hour before closing but the guys were great & all the food was beautifully cooked, so compliments to the chef. On Kieron?s recommendation I?d sampled their own micro brewery Don Alberto lager & again all good. Pristine white cloth napkins was also a big tick.
Kieron looked after us really well. Nothing too much trouble. He even gave us the details of the restaurants Spotify background music. When U drop in on a place & it?s this good it makes the evening. It?s a great little find for us & we should?ve called in years ago.

What a lovey evening we had! The restaurant was luxurious and very comfortable with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The team of staff were very pleasant and attentive. They seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy ourselves. And the food?.... delicious!! Can't recommend Don Albertos highly enough.
