Went for the fast track option through security. Not sure which part was fast, staff more interested in chatting to each other, no attention to the flow of buckets to put your stuff in for the x-ray machine and generally staff wandering around doing, well what? Glad I paid the extra. Food outlets change to lunch menus at 11.30, so don't order a breakfast bacon bap at 11.31. That's if they actually have the food in stock that is on the menu.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This used to be our regular hotel when flying out if Manchester airport and was once a really nice 4 star hotel. Not a chance, it's filthy, it stinks, it's very noisy and it is also very intimidating. The reason for this is that it's almost full of asylum seakers. I had to actually knock on the door oposite at 4am to ask if they would keep the noise down a little, as reception wouldn't do this for us and was told by the occupants of that room to **** off. There's no escape from these people, even outside of the hotel they hag aground. My wife and I walked down to a local restaurant and there were a group of them next to the local shops drunk and abusive. I will never stay there again.

Appalling! The place used to be really nice, we used to use the restaurant and gym.It us now full of asylum speakers and consequently the place is filthy and so,so noisy. These people are also out in the local community until 2-3 am playing extremely loud music and verbally threatening anyone that attempts to ask to keep the noise down. Shocking.

The hotel charged £200 for the night due to several events occurring in Manchester, when we arrived a rooms were filthy. There was dust and coffee stains on all the surfaces. The skirting boards looked like they had never been cleaned and the carpet hadn?t been vacuumed. There was hair and the top of a disposable razor in the bath. We complained to management whilst we were there and when we returned however we still have had no response. The main concern is we are coming out of a pandemic and to stay in a filthy hotel that charged so much was awful. Then to have no response to our concerns just adds to the disgust

No staff after being laid off for covid the couldn?t care less about passengers attitude travelers waiting for luggage for up to 2 hours sometimes more pickup point in multi-storey car parks that are less than ideal there is a good chance someone will get hurt badly .

We booked a room for a night with parking for two weeks as we were going on a cruise , the hotel were absolutely fantastic, waking us up early in the morning and laying on a taxi to take us to the airport. On our return a taxi was waiting for us to take us back to the hotel to pick up our car . The service was amazing. The food served in the bar was piping hot and excellent.Well done Hallmark.

I travelled from Ireland to Manchester 2 days ago to meet my daughter who is working in the UK and travel on with her to Malta. I had a fall almost 3 years ago which left me with a lot of bone bruising on my spine and pelvis, a spinal annular tear, bilateral trochanteric bursitis, bilateral gluteal tendinopathy and a chipped and displaced cuboid. I take an awful lot of pain meds and my mobility is significantly impacted and although I can walk with a crutch for very short distances I can get quite a bit further faster with my wheelie walking frame; though not too far as weight bearing causes a lot of pain. So I need special assistance and am always provided with a wheelchair and assistance at airports. It was difficult to accept that I need this assistance but the staff who provide these services are for the most part willing and kind individuals and due huge praise for what they do. Manchester was a whole other experience. When I got off the plane a gentleman (and I use this term very loosely... think Voctor Meldrew in 1 Foot in the Grave x 10) met me. He oozed sarcasm. He pushed me to a door parked me facing it withy back to everybody and disappeared complaining about having to get a phone clearance and came back quite a while later complaining inaudibley in a thick accent about what the guy at the other end of the phone had said. There was some discussion about his pittance of a wage... it felt safer to say quite little. I met my daughter and we moved towards our next flight in due course. We found the assistance lane. We explained to the chap behind the desk that I can't walk far and we would need help with my bags. He said I should be fine to go ahead. Ahead was a very narrow lane with a long queue. Nobody in the queue had either baby equipment nor wheelchairs or walking aids. It was a gridlock for quite a while and I knew at this rate I wouldn't last long. Once we got to the customs wheel. I explained to the gentleman that I needed special assistance and perhaps in the wrong area. His response was quite aggressive. He held the palms of his hands forward in a stop signal and told me that this was not his job nothing to do with him. A coworker seemed to be whispering in his ear and there was a complete change in tone as they seemed to have spotted a manager in the queue behind us helping a lady with childrenby carrying her buggy. There were no more people who didn't require assistance after the manager in the queue. He (previously aggressive staff member) asked the other guy what he could do and they seemed to decide to ask the manager. The sweetness seemed too ooze out of the previously agressive man when speaking to the manager at he told the manager that he saw this as an opportunity to learn and asked what to do in this situation. The manager told him to call the special assistance desk and get them to come to help. Once the manager left the man said to wait there and pointed at an area to the side and ignored us from then on. Seone nice from special assistance arrived we were brought to the assistance area just across the hall from the assistance lane and after a while someone came to help us with a wheelchair. It was John from earlier (aka Victor). I introduced him to my daughter (he had never introduced himself) and explained we were flying on to Malta. His response was to ask her why we didn't just meet in Malta. Another gentleman had to come with us as he apparently (according to what John told us along the way) needed supervision in the airport. When we went through customs. After I left the body screening device both my rollator and crutch were gone. John had taken them and put them on the line to be scanned. I couldn't see them. He was nowhere to be seen with the wheelchair either. My daughter came and let me lean on her arm after she got through screening and I walked slowly through. I felt quite unsafe as people were moving fast in that area. After a bit John reappeared with the wheelchair put me in and literally parked me in the corner facing the wall. I eventually got out and

We are booked in there on the 27th sept and car parking for 11 nights. Can not get a response from them or holiday extra whom we booked it through. It looks like the hotel is closed and reading reviews sound like it is full of asilum seekers. This is not on. Absolutely very good customer service letting people know or not as the case may be.

We were treated like cattle . The food was awful and we were not advised that the hotel was being used to house asylum seekers so the stay was not very pleasant. The rooms were poorly furnished and I would not recommend staying in this hotel.
